The reference was to the Go Rhino running boards and whether they would act as sliders. Are you saying that they will? REAL frame mounted rock rails are an entirely different discussion.

I don't think they'll function nearly as well as the OEM rock rails because you have greatly increased the lever arm (and therefore the pressure on the mounts). YMMV.

I'm just the opposite even though I'm turning 67. I'm getting the BL SAS. I've already been to the Off-Roadeo which solidified the SAS option. I'll get it muddy the first weekend I have it (& may get it stuck too). I plan to spend a month in Colorado trying out their trails the first summer...

The Off-Roadeo used the OEM setup and it was quite impressive. We even did rock climbing in the wet.

I went to Texas too. We had both SAS & nonSAS and all were Badlands models with a mix of MIC and soft tops (I tried both tops). There was only 1 manual. I was there during the 1st week in July.

I thought 33's would be fine until I did the Off-Roadeo. On the day I drove with 33's I was making good use of the skid plates. On the day with SAS, I don't think I used them a single time. That experience made me add SAS to my order.
