  1. The 6G really isn't a rockcrawler.

I definitely scrape often but my biggest complaint on my 4 door badlands non-sasquatch 2.3L is the low-hanging rear trailing arms.
  2. ADV Prototype Hardtop - Professional Pictures + TrailRax Roof Rack Compatibility

I’m not so sure about that large box cutting into the rear view, is there a reason you opted for higher up instead of tucked down behind the spare like the oem top? Iā€˜m also curious why the top doesn’t flip all the way up like the oem top? I really want to place an order but I’m just not sure I...
  3. And it’s begun... Bronco Raptor flippers 🤦

Wish I had that kind of disposable cash but even more glad I was able to pay MSRP. This is crazy town – $150,000 for an automatic transmission… uh…

Considering heading up 168 for some wheeling around Shaver Lake this weekend, likely not until Sunday. Anyone interested?
  6. AUTO STOP START DANGEROUS

Auto start stop is one of the most shortsighted "innovations" I've seen. Unless you're on the 405 every day, it's useless. Pressing the button is literally the second thing I do after starting my Bronco. Also, in my opinion, there is little reason to upgrade from the standard package – added...
  7. 5 wheel tire rotation... Why you should do it!

I'm going with a 5 tire rotation every 5k miles.
  8. Traction Board Mounting Brackets by Pura Vida Offroad

Both of these products are brilliant. I already store my traction boards in the gap immediately behind the back seat (4 door) and they fit perfectly width-wise but I will absolutely take one of these platforms for my soft-top. Recovery gear, first-aid, fire-extinguisher, etc…

    Bay Area Broncos

Great write up. I've been eyeing both the drawer and trailgator table, it's good to hear they perform well. I guess I'm typically in rock crawl or baja mode with 2H for the fun sections (not on Bald Mountain) but I feel like I remember that being the case for M&R regarding no 4L. Schedule...

Thank you for sharing, I might have to look him up if I don't end up getting a dongle and license myself.
  13. MGV sucks

If you off-road, the MGV is worth it. Being able to get all the dust and mud out when I want is nice. If you don’t off-road and live in a hot environment, I would just get the cloth.

@WheelMe Not all come with lockers but yeah the Badlands is good to go. And I have a 4 door.

Seeing another post about this event made me think I should post about it here. H/T: @WheelMe https://cal4wheel.com/events/high-sierra-poker-run

I'm thinking about it. Regarding the "extreme run": I did the Moonlight Madness extreme run which is supposedly the same in June with my standard badlands but I decided to take one bypass and didn't attempt "posi hill". However, I went back out last weekend and managed to get up a slightly less...
  17. Central California to Yellowstone National Park & Grand Teton National Park!

Looks like a great trip and some amazing photos you got there. I've been there three times and haven't ever seen bear cubs – very cool!
