I see the letter does tell the dealer not to give anything to people who they 99ād.
I donāt see where it says the dealer gets $800 and the lucky few they want to ātreatā get $200.
I like the first hint for ideas- a special treat for someone who already has their bronco and is Inconvenienced by...
I would love to see a copy of the actual letter the dealerships got to see how they interpret what was in the article for the public. Obviously the dealerships are going to use it how they se fit. Like the guy I quoted who thinks nothings changed for some of us. Pretty sure Wildtrak went from...
You know, some of us didnāt ask to be 99ād but had it forced on us. Giving you guys the money is just wrong. My dealer did nothing, absolutely nothing, except push a button to place my order. I picked what I wanted, went in and paid the $100 res and $400 deposit for the order. You guys arenāt...
You are saying you ordered a MIC? They were standard until that announcement. If it was like the old B&P the price did not include both tops when you tried to order the MIC on any of the other trims that came with soft tops standard. You just āupgradedā to a different top.
I havenāt. I ordered a Wildtrak so they probably donāt expect me to hang in there.
I didnāt get the poster and sticker until about a month after everyone was posting about it though.
No thanks, never really cared for them. Maybe you shouldnāt post on forums if you think anything I said was directed as an attack on you or your comment. I was simply saying Ford wants to build them the way they want to build them because they have constantly changed the builds and original...
You mean Ford wants us to order them the way they want to build them right? Because Iām pretty sure most of us wanted hard tops and a lot of you wanted 2 doors.
Hell, Ford dropped the ball out of the gate when they didnāt know what the word First in First Edition meant.
Moab isnāt big enough to worry about where you stay. I mean I guess if you were at the far end of town and had to drive the speed limit all the way through it might be a slight inconvenience. My ex just took the kids there at the beginning of summer to see their uncle. No way she payed $400 a...
Where did you get this #? Sorry Iām new and I have a number lower than that on mine that I donāt think means anything because I refuse to believe that as late as I ordered (4/19) that that number has any significance as to my place in line.
I went and had mine do this yesterday even though I missed Fordās deadline by a month (4/17 res, 4/19 order). There are some stand up dealers out there.
Maybe I donāt watch enough of these videos but the camera/go pro, or whatever he used, setting he used made it seem way smaller than it is. I thought he was in a golf cart at first. I have only just seen and test driven my first one yesterday but the views in this video donāt do it justice...
I was there earlier. They already sold one so they now have, or had, a Big Bend and an Outer Banks. They claimed they were from people backing out on orders.
Top was down on the one I drove so I canāt comment on the noise. Iām a big time mirror user when I drive and my complaint would have to be how high that thing sticks up in back. Never had a full soft top on my older bronco or my Fj40 so maybe thatās how they normally sit. Not an issue though and...
my dealerās mannequin was rapid red. Maybe I need to do some more reading. Whatās so ultra rare about that colorā¦.or do you mean the soft top? Not so rare if they are forcing that as standard now right?
*edit- it was race red. I didnāt know my colors.
āDepends on timestampā
They continued taking orders for a vehicle they knew they couldnāt produce, long after they knew they couldnāt produce it and now they are going to pick some random date to determine who will still get a hardtop that was standard on a $50k vehicle they ordered.
Those of us...
