Yeah, the Ford one or any soft one does not impress. I have order a steel Molle Panel and will ad a First Aid kit, E=Collar Bag, etc..pretty much mix and match what I need.
1K and there was a lot of metal on the magnet and the fluid was black as coal with a lot of shine to it. Going to change it at 3K and at 6K, assuming the magnet is clean, I'll switch from Valvoline to Amsoil 75W-140.
I used a flashlight, small screwdriver and ice pick to remove the brake...
I changed my rear diff fluid yesterday and installed the FP cover. At 1K miles it looked like hot garbage with a lot of metal on the magnet. I will change it at 3K and as I mentioned before 6K at which time I will fill it with Amsoil ILO Valvoline.
Installed the ASFIR transmission and T-Case skid plates today after doing an engine, front diff and T-Case oil change. Fit is perfect but I do wish the hardware was S/S. Will probably change it all out to S/S as time goes on.
I have the fuel tank skid plates but with me closer to 70 than 60...
With 1K on my HE I did an oil change, front diff and T-case oil change. I have driven it it 4A a couple of times since receiving it the first of Feb but no off-roading yet. The engine oil on the dipstick was clean but really dirty in the pan. The catch can had a little over a teaspoon of oil...
My dad purchased a new Dodge Ram 2500 in 2007 and drove it up to visit. I told him that we needed to go to Atlanta and went the Middle Fork Road. Washboard does not describe it. Two days later I took them to Silver City via Jordan Creek/De Lamar. Lot of stream crossings and some new Idaho...
I talked to Paul Darley about this build-up. It's a test mule for Ford and Microsoft (and others) for communication and fire mapping. Funny thing is, there is no "Darley" products on-board other than their drone stuff.
It came as standard on my 24 HE and if you have dogs it is indispensable. I have 2 Crates that sit right to the rear tailgate edge and when I'm putting E-Collars on or just loading them in the crates the slide-out tailgate makes it that much easier. Additionally I use it as a work bench when I...
No, mine came with all hex head bolts. Unfortunately, they were too short at 30 mm for the hinges but I had some 8 X 40 mm SS hex head's which did the job. With the bushings/plate thickness, I do not believe that 35 mm would have been long enough to provide enough thread engagement. I changed...
