I'm on the other spectrum with kids. Two out of the house in school and two still in High School. They can find their own rides. Planning on keeping the old crew cab silverado and wife's SUV when we need space or power. I have no idea about resale but I am hoping to make a 2DR, 2.3L, manual...
This is a great thread to get thoughts on the Carbonized Grey color. I've been doing all I can to get off the grey palette; trying to sell myself on Cactus, Area 51, Antimatter, but carbonized grey always catches my eye. Think I'm locked in to a CG 2DR Big Bend. I'd prefer a black top vice...
I gotta stay south of $36-37K. Thinking I can get there with MT, 2.3L, 2DR, Carbonized Grey, opt rear lockers and maybe aux switches. Not sure if I can stay on budget by stepping up to a BD. Still not sure BB is worth the upcharge in the MT 2.3L motor but I like the wheels/tire, grille, etc...
Like most, budget is a concern. Looking for a hunting rig and DD. Reserved a BB and thinking 2-door manual, 2.3, rear lockers, aux switches and maybe roof rack (Carbonized grey I think). Wonder if the B&P tool will drive me back to a base with options. Love the Squatch look but just can't...
I'm relatively simple and will likely go with Carbonized Gray on my 2DR hunting rig but still debating. If a flat color was offered (black, gray, OD green) it'd be a slam dunk. Color definitely matters (there are a few colors that are a no-go for me).
Sticking with the 2DR. Wife, 4 kids (teens) and two big hunting dogs. Want the Bronco for me, the wife and dogs. Kids can figure out their own transportation  . 4DR will greatly outsell 2DR is my guess. No wrong answer in the debate. I just like the 2DR look and cost.
Active Navy dude but retiring next summer after 30 years. Hoping the Bronco is my retirement gift to me. Big Bend, 2DR, manual, carbonized gray reserved. Daily driver and hunting rig. Still trying to figure out how to haul dogs in the 2DR.
Big Bend 2DR Manual. Carbonized Gray (I think). Good looks and enough tech to work for me. Don't need all the drivers aides, don't rock crawl and budget is a concern. With two in college and two in HS, I want a 2DR to dissuade the kids from coming with us . Eventual tow behind...
