I've never been a soft top fan. It's all preference. Neither are too bad to handle.

they're all very capable of handling all different kinds of off-roading, but I'm admittedly a lot more sand than trails. For me, the WIldtrak has every upgrade that I would want already built in (2.7 engine, hardtop, Sasquatch, etc).

bare bones still gets you some decent tech. Apple Play, Sync 4, etc. 8 inch touchscreen. The tires on the base are the most practical for a long commute (but honestly they're all capable). A/C is standard.

If I were you I'd get the Bronco if it's within the budget. Like you said - it screams fun (and they look badass). You only live once.

Toyotas are great and their reputation is what it is for a reason. 4 runners, Tacomas. Great reliable vehicles but they’re just so boring. Tech is always outdated. The coolest thing about the TRD Pro is the damn hood scoop and it doesn’t do anything. So yes they’re reliable. But man...

4 door Rubicon is going to be about a foot longer than a 2 door Bronco if im not mistaken.

I still don't totally understand the reservation numbers. I reserved mine about 8 hours into it, so I doubt I'm a week 1 or 2 guy, but I'm pretty hopeful that I'll see my Bronco in early Summer 2021

4 door looks mean. Looks badass when all 4 doors off too.

Maybe i misunderstood your complaint? Yes softtop is an option on the Wildtrak but it comes stock with the hardtop tho.

I’m actually digging the 4 door more (when it has Sasquatch). Doors off I definitely like the 4 door more. Both are badass to be honest.
