When you think about it, the dealership has nothing to do with the design, development, configuration, testing, and all the years, months, days, in bringing a new Ford to the showroom floor. All they do is provide a warm place to showcase Ford products that God only knows involved thousands of...
This might have been covered and I missed it. Given the current environment, what happens if I decide to buy one off another dealer lot? I'm unscheduled/clean but with a Wildtrac I'm looking at all options. Do I still have any price protection? Looking for the same configuration. Guessing not
What a great design and well thought out. Being that I have had to drop LUX, if I ever get my Bronco this will certainly be in an upgrade. Thanks for posting.
71 soon to turn 72 and holding the line! Sad, over 120 years of combined service to Ford in my immediate family. It's always been FORD, nothing else. Times "are a changing".
I'll throw my hat into the ring. Looking for a RR 2dr. I have seen several dealerships that have 23's on their lot at MSRP (no Wildtrac), one even showing prices with A/Z plan applied. Keeping my order as is, #2 Wildtrac in line at my dealer but not real hopeful.
Gotta hold the line! I did drop the Mod Bumper and Tow but holding everything else. I'm going to wait and see what happens in the next couple weeks. Nothing but a 2dr Wildtrac for me, have waited since 21'.
I'm sure this is covered somewhere, but with a 2rd. Wildtrac reservation the only commodity that can be removed is the LUX. Does that still fall within the $2500 gift?
Agree! The Wildtrac crowd is certainly stubborn. We (dealer) discussed dropping and going to a BL. Not happening. It's a lot of $$ to spend on something to compromise. I'd rather go without and that may very well happen.
Just got back from my dealer today. Haven't been in there in well over a year. My salesman wasn't quite up to snuff but had somewhat of an idea of what was happening. He consulted with, I assume the sales manager, and got back with me. I requested my place in line and allocations. I didn't...
