  1. OBX losing it’s luster

I’m hoping that Ford makes an OBX- trim available that has high pkg std and comes with a manual. That would be my ideal rig.
  2. Message to FORD – From a Bronco Reservation Holder & Potential Customer

What you’re not seeing is that bigger dealers will get much more of their orders for Broncos filled in 2021 than smaller dealers. Small dealers will get Broncos in drips. This removes any reason for Ford dealers to compete with each other as anyone who moves to a smaller, more competitive dealer...
  3. Dealer info from 9/25 Meeting

    Thanks, mine ran outta gas
  4. Ford is testing factory 37" inch tires for the Bronco (official teaser) & poll

Agree with the confusing mixed messages
  5. Hardtop Hoist ?

Having done the Jeep two door ones I’m thinking the Bronco doors will be less bulky - so easier - but not so easy you’ll pop them off b4 heading to 7-11 for a slurpee.
  6. Assembly Line Video of 2 and 4 Door Broncos

The weight difference could be because of the pop-out rear windows needing to be beefier/thicker and require metal framing, seals, etc.
  7. Status Symbol Complex

Ok, so here goes. I’m getting a Big Bend trim. Whew, that wasn’t so bad. <and cue the chairs> Truth: my Bronco will cost ten times more than each of the last three cars I’ve bought. I’ve been a used car buying lifer. Always wrenched on my rides, sometimes before I even got to drive them for...
  8. Photos of pre-production Broncos on the assembly line.

Imma getting Race Red with a White top even if I gotta get Jimmy two-tone from down on the block to do it for me
  9. Assembly Line Video of 2 and 4 Door Broncos

I prefer prop rods - they don’t lose strength in the cold. Who’s in for a trip on the ALCAN with their new Bronco? ????? This guy!!
  10. Transmission cooler to help with towing?

+1 for the 2.3L with manual
  11. Ford explains why no manual with 2.7L Bronco

Dealers buy cars & then try to cram ppl into what’s on their lot which means manuals are mated to ā€˜base’ & stripped down models. Manual buyers are all across the buying spectrum so naturally low rent models don’t ā€˜fit’ the whole group. Sigh. Take rate is not real. Take rate is marketing speak...
  12. Ford explains why no manual with 2.7L Bronco

Wait, what? I thought GOAT modes affected engine programming, traction control/abs/nannies, AND trans shift points. We still have two out of three with the manual.
  13. Ford explains why no manual with 2.7L Bronco

Oh you’re absolutely right, I’m as geeked as a 4yo who won a years worth of free candy and thankful I can get a Bronco with a manual at all. It is nice to vent once in a while and call a spade a spade. ?
  14. Ford explains why no manual with 2.7L Bronco

Here’s where I have heartburn with the ā€œtake rateā€ argument: No one seems to want to admit that the Bronco pricing is completely arbitrary and solely based on what people are willing to pay - not what it costs to offer. Let me explain. The lowest cost Bronco combines two automotive anomalies...
  15. Ford explains why no manual with 2.7L Bronco

Exactly. If $$ is the problem then charge me more for the 2.7L with a manual just coz I’m one of 50 ppl who order it. It’s fine. Anyone who wants a simple but rarely selected option like a block heater from the factory pays way more than the $3.50 it costs to install one but ppl still do it &...
  16. Ford explains why no manual with 2.7L Bronco

So much this. As a manual buyer I’m locked into cloth or vinyl. If I want a lux pkg I can’t get anything other than BL. And I can almost guarantee you that either High or Lux pkg is going to tie me to a 2.7L auto. This is how options are tied together on the Ranger & F-150. Thus creating the...
  17. Ford explains why no manual with 2.7L Bronco

Thanks for posting. In case anyone from Ford cares: I’d jump from a Big Bend to a Wildtrak if I could get a manual with the 2.7L. If you don’t want my money, fine. Doesn’t bother me any ..
  18. What you can get out of the 2.3L with a tune and some other small mods...

Yup, gotta have the manual. Hope they allow me to buy the tune with it as it’s an all new manual
  19. Big Bend Tires 33s?

    Drrr. Thanks for correcting me
