East side of the Wind River Mountains. Such a great area to have an off-road beast. I ran my Raptor for 7 years out here and now I'm just doing it at a slower pace, although the Bronco has no problem cruising comfortably at 70 mph. No doubt Chris Ledoux country up there (and everywhere around...
I hand calculate mine every tank and mine is actually underestimating slightly overall. After 7k miles my Sasquatch Badlands is over 20 mpg. I'm ecstatic with that as I do a fair amount of dirt. Can't answer your question though. GL
Yes, if anything, I'd love to pick up a second one (Wildtrak to go with my Badlands) because I really don't think these kinds of vehicles will be around that much longer. I still have my 68 Bronco (that my dad bought new in the fall of '67) and I can foresee keeping this until I don't feel like...
Nearly 6K with the only quirk/'issue' being that it tells me occasionally to keep my hands on the steering wheel even though I always drive with two hands. If that's the only issue, I have I'll be ecstatic. Love, love love it!
Another great day for Team 2 Door to be on the trails (Srn Wind Rivers)! Ran into fellow forum member @307Slider (we won't count it against him that he has a 4 door because he told me he would have loved a 2 door :)
Glad you're doing ok! It's why I said I'm never getting a small car again. My F150 Raptor gave me the same feeling that you could survive just about anything. Hard to get those (and obviously the Braptor) things unsettled. Always felt my Raptor was self-correcting if it started to get off-kilter...
If you open more than about 90 degrees, then yes it will touch. So don't forget that and you'll be fine. Also, with 2 gallons in each of those, you'll be right at the max weight for the bracket according to Ford. It worked great and is very snug and never moved one iota.
Posted most of this on the What did you do to your Bronco today thread but I thought I'd post here too!
A few pics from an awesome day in the Red Desert with a couple Raptor buddies. Fast trailing running, lots of mud and some Killpecker Dunes time!
Made a run through the Red Desert with a couple Raptor buddies. Ran 28 psi in the dirt and 20 in the dunes. What a beast we have. Comfortable at 70 mph in the dirt, flying through mud puddles or climbing sand dunes. Stock Sasquatch tires were awesome.
