  1. What's your unpopular Bronco opinion?

Funny, but wrong. One feature that is unsafe for people who decide to use it doesn’t make the Bronco “not the vehicle” for people who won’t.
  2. What's your unpopular Bronco opinion?

Uh yeah. But so what? They are still dangerous when off. Also force electric and window designs that some do not like.
  3. What's your unpopular Bronco opinion?

The issue is that removable doors force other design compromises that are undesirable for some.and put people in danger. Like kids especially. Just wait until a Bronco full of teenagers or a family gets t-boned.
  4. What's your unpopular Bronco opinion?

Hello again. I'm the mythical non-smoker with my window cracked an inch. It's just the right amount to let in a little fresh air but keep most of the sun out (tinted). The skunky contact high one so often gets from doing this in “legalized” states makes it a mythical practice.
  5. What's your unpopular Bronco opinion?

Door removal should be an option; not a standard feature. It’s a novelty feature to most, and potentially very dangerous. It’s as if some new brand of rough rider condoms came with a removable tip. I plan to drive my BD in the mountain woods, mud, rain and snow mostly. Why would I take them...
  6. What's your unpopular Bronco opinion?

    Best.comment. By far.
  7. What the Bronco looks like cut open using firemen rescue tools

Well, it is marked "4F", so I assume it was not eligible to be drafted into regular service anyway. Maybe this was the bone spur operation.
  8. When did you order your Bronco and has it come?

Order 9/21/2021 Black Diamond, 2.7, MIC, tow, mid pkg. Medium sized dealer in Western Washington. Not scheduled yet. Dealer has been pleasant but claims igonrance...can't hazard a guess about when to expect delivery. Amazing, really. The world has changed.
  9. Sleeping Platform in 4 Door build

Ford corporate has important things to do than endorse builds; such as ...build? (By the way, there is only one "m" in "forum"; not four.)
  10. Sleeping Platform in 4 Door build

I prefer a tent but in bear country prefer the rig. Put stuff in lidded tubs outside. Hang the food. Once had a grizley walk through camp while I was in the VW bus. Luckily she didn't try to get in using her natural can openers. But I can’t imagine how much worse I would have felt if I had been...
  11. Electronics 101 Primer: It's Modules (Not Single Chips) Delaying Bronco Deliveries

OKEE DOKEE. Pretty much what I suspected, but ignorance is bliss and I was hopeful.
  12. Electronics 101 Primer: It's Modules (Not Single Chips) Delaying Bronco Deliveries

Disclaimer: I am no engineer and know nothing about the salvage market. But: Roughly 6 million crashes per year. Roughly 10-15% of them are totaled. That means there should be salvageable modules and chips inside modules in over 600K cars per year. Many of them may be too old, but that's still...
  13. Jumping Ship? - What's Your Plan B Vehicle Purchase?

Took a look at the Grenadier. It will be great if you live on a farm or a ranch, or in Iceland. Otherwise, seems impractically heavy and not dialled in for daily driving. Looks terrific though. If I had money to burn on an off-road only vehicle, this would probably be it.
  14. The "Ultimate Ford Bronco Build" Caught Testing On The Streets Of Dearborn

Looks like an 8th grader designed it while ignoring the teacher.
  15. 2022 Outer Banks Eruption Green Build - SOLD

Looks really great. I converted my Black Diamond order from A51 to EG and am toying with the idea of gold-on-green accents, to pick up the flake in the paint. Haters gonna hate, I know, but it can be done well. Has anyone tried this? The closest thing I can find to a decent example with a...
  16. Official Debut: Everglades Bronco: Specs, Video, Photos, Pricing, Availability

The plimolls are stupid ugly. Given the extremely small number of buyers who will actually ever use a snorkle, this version ventures into the realm of the truly ridiculous poser vehicle. FMC could have simply left the conversion to the aftermarket, and licensed the design for the mods. FMC may...
  17. Ice Mountain Update Video From 2/5/22 Showing New Activity

This is an impressive sight; both encouraging and depressing. On the "positive" side, it's a sign that at least production is (or at least until recently has been) happening. Ford is building well over 10K units per month, and must be shipping a large number of those. So this batch, though it...
  18. Ice Mountain Photos After Snow Storm

EG looks good in snow! I might have to switch colors before it's too late. Still hanging with A51 but change my mind every day. The only privilege of being a late order, it seems. Funny how many people ordered an off-road rig and are freaking out that they actually sit outdoors exposed to the...
  19. Estimated Build Date Graph

You may be right about a gross catch up by year end, barring further global disruptions. I hope you are; as my order delivery probably falls somewhere in Q4. Otherwise, as others point out, the assumptions underlying your well-intentioned effort are not complete.
