Confirmed just now that yes, if I tilt the rear of the vehicle down (in my case the dash indicated a 3 degree slope) that the grinding noise at stationary idle goes away.
Lol @ that dealership for telling you that. How is it that I have a service appointment to execute the latest TSB on the 27th, and they can tell you one year? .
I thought someone in this thread mentioned experimenting with this on a tilt.
I did that this morning, just using the slight slope on my driveway apron.
Guess what, when the rear was tilted down, the noise stopped.
Anyone have a chance to perform this test, please do and report back.
I find it extremely interesting that your dealer calls you and tells you that parts are a month out when I left a voicemail for my local service manager today and a service advisor called me back within 2 hours to tell me that the parts will be there within 6 days and they want to schedule my...
I'll send some pictures when the weather improves.

Hi all, recently had my base Stereo upgraded using a JL 10" sub in the factory sub location, along with replacement of all 6 speakers using audiofrog in like size. What a huge difference.
The only thing that the tech told me was that there wasn't a digital output from the factory head unit...
I assume that 6th is working on the synchro in the same way that the clutch does. Something about the key, blocker rings, yada yada etc. Somehow it stops the part causing the issue from moving.
I also have the same low speed nees when moving and cold. Not sure if it's related to the sitting still in neutral issue. Probably is.
The Ford web monitor contacted me, and told me that someone from Ford would contact me.
No call yet,.two weeks later.
Confirmed that the noise is there. Moving towards 6th gear makes the noise stop. Note: this is without touching the clutch at all. Just moving the shifter right and down just a bit and it's gone.
Also, fully depressing the clutch pedal makes the noise go away.
22 BL with the MT as well at 1204 miles and I have exactly the same problem. I'll investigate more tomorrow morning.
Also, I just took delivery of this vehicle about 4 weeks ago.
The vacuum line makes sense, as when disconnecting the bronco after a flat tow, the brake pedal is firm.
Fwiw, I am towing a 2.3 manual badlands using the blueox braking system.
