What he said. Reverse the bolts, no need to remove the bumper. It's been a while since I installed mine, but I remember getting some hardware from Ace, either a different length, or a different grade, than what was supplied. Wasn't worth the time or effort to reach out to the seller to swap...
2DR BB SAS. It handles cross wind sooo much better than I expected.
Like previously stated by others, any large steel sail will catch some wind, whether a Bronco, 4x4 truck, minivan, or Sprinter.
Buy the 2DR! You will love it!
I am biased, but EG for the win. We were on the fence about ordering a Bronco or not, but when EG was announced, wifey and I were sold. No regerts!
As some have mentioned, green goes in and out of style. But because EG has sooo many shades, depending on the light, it will stay very unique for...
I concur...that IS the best Bronco color. (AMB is a very very close second). Enjoy the ride, and keep it clean. This color almost stops traffic when the sun beats on it.😎
In my experience, they could be more of a hindrance than a benefit. I just ran mine thru the auto car wash the other day. Got out, folded in pass mirror, went back to driver seat, rolled window down, folded in Driver mirror. When folded in, opening the doors WILL put mirrors back in place, but...
Damn You! Just Damn You! I was all content leaving my 2DR EG BB SAS as is, but now that I have seen some quality pics with the bronze accents and the "new grill, I have to make some more changes. (I am sending you the bill, BTW). The BB/OB grill is butt-a$$ ugly!
Which accent stripe did you...
I may be quite biased, but that is one fine looking Bronco.😁
I ordered the factory steps (running boards) for the two reasons you have brought up; short stature of occupants, and keeping sh!t off the new paint. I also added the mud flaps that are sold by IAG, Stickerfab, Mabbett, etc. Love the...
Stocking Stuffer. Hard to find anything 2Dr EG in the toy world, so Wifey could not pass this up. Frank has a little brother.
(I just can't afford the lift kit that is necessary to make my Bronco look like the RC Bronco)
Nicely done! I built my "floor" for my 2DR to lay Over the rear folded seats, but I have quick access to them should I need to carry a rear seat passenger. But I love what you did, and the creative storage you attained.
As a "neighbor to the west", I can understand locking up some of our cars for months on end. But my Bronco, it's just too much fun to Not drive in the winter. (And, at the price I had to pay, it had to be my daily). So after a trip to the local accessory shop for some rust proofing and under...
About 3500 miles when I got my first (and only, so far. There likely will be more). As my friend so eloquently said, when you have the aerodynamics of a two story colonial, they don't just glance off the glass.
Sooo sorry to hear about your Bronco. AMB was my first choice, and when Ford canceled it for '22, I was out. Then we saw the leaked pics of EG, and I jumped back into the fray. 11 months and change later, it arrived. These Broncos are so fun.
Now, thinking somewhat out of the box. If you found...
On my trailer the 4" drop was not enough, and the trailer was dragging a bit in the rear. I have had the death wobble trailer from a rear end over-weight once l, and don't want that experience again. (Skid steer, short trailer, lost a tire, bad deal.) I went 6", and it pulls perfect, even at...
12 in trailer tires, tongue is about 15" off the ground when fairly level. Drop hitch is actually a 6", (I thought I had to go 8") and the distance from the hitch pin to the ball is about 15", so a tad longer than normal. Harbor Freight special. Works perfect for my needs.
I have a 22 Big Bend 2Dr Squatch w the 2.7. I had this 5x8 utility before the Bronco, as I had an old Yukon as my daily, and this trailer filled all the needs of a truck. 8" drop hitch, pulls straight, no wobble. This load was 5 skid steer buckets of wet cedar mulch, and I didn't know it was...
