Many people have replied about driving a manual and never having this problem. How many people have driven a 3500 lb vehicle with a 122 cubic inch engine? This is the reason the vehicle roll’s spinning the engine.
I would still crack the drain plug and unscrew it enough to let out a drip of oil. If there is water in there it will be on the bottom. If the fluid is milky then you should change your oil.
Water can get in if your differential is hot and is submerged in freezing or even cold water. Believe me...
This is how I did my wirieng. I mounted the plug as above and after looking at it for a few days I decided the plug would get smashed when I go to Moab nest Spring. So I moved it behind the bumper facing down. It's close to the muffler but it's fine with the heat shield which came with the kit.
There's a plug above the accelerator pedal under the dash. You can tap into it there and run it back to the plug. I did it the uncomplicated way. I ran it through the firewall and down to the frame. Fish wired it from the front to the back inside the frame. It's totally protected and you don't...
I wouldn't worry about 12V on the blue wire until you fix the U2100. This code indicates you didn't get the ForScan Programming correct. "A continuous memory and on-demand DTC that sets due to incomplete or incorrect TRM configuration." Go back and reprogram it again. Once you get it right you...
I removed my screws with a Snap-On socket and an electric impact gun. They all came off just like any other bolt I have ever removed. The new Ford Beadlock Bolts are torqued to 48 Ft. Lbs with NO Locktite or Anti-seize.
Here's a picture of the new Ford Beadlock Rings.
I forgot to mention the trim rings. With trim rings, at least on my Badlands, the wheels that were balanced, (2 had no weights) were only balanced on the inside with traditional lead weights that clip onto the outer rim of the wheel.
Did you notice which weights your wheels had when you had...
I would go get your tires balanced. When I installed my bead locks 2 wheels had no balance weights. There's a YouTube video on Lite Brite Nation where they changed the tires on their Raptor. Swapped the Goodyears for Nittos and ALL 4 Tires had ZERO Weights! LOL
JBlanco, Here's some info on carbon buildup at idle which I found reading Engine Builder Magazine. Paraphrasing, At high speed, and particularly on race engines the port velocity through the engine, through the intake port, and through the exhaust port is so fast that a lot of carbon buildup...
Dude, I posted it because you questioned this statement " idle is a surprisingly harsh condition for direct-injected gas engines, especially ones like the 2.3L that lack port injection. That's when all the carbon buildup on valves occurs."
The video explains why the carbon builds up and how...
