  1. šŸ›  1/17/2022 Build week group

But it’s not that unusual for a car to set on a lot. Remember when dealers had cars they didn’t sell. These would also get shipped around sometimes for demand locations. At the end of year there were sales to get rid of the last model year. Not always but not unusual.
  2. šŸ›  1/17/2022 Build week group

Nice. I’m not so sure the dirt means it’s been out. These are supposedly coming off the line. I looked at a couple others and some had some dirt too. Not as much maybe. My guess is just from the factory. I can’t imagine a scenario it goes back on the line even if parts are needed as someone...
  3. šŸ›  1/17/2022 Build week group

You would make the dealers day for sure. I’m definitely all in on my bronco. You could at least drive it for a week and flip it easily. for a few thousand profit.
  4. What's the oldest Bronco on Ice/Dirt Mountain?

Ice mountain (chip hold) didn’t start until build week 1/10. So it’s this is just a dirt mountain question.
  5. Soft Top Interior Lighting Upgrade

The under glow might be cool too??
  6. šŸ›  1/17/2022 Build week group

Yea but … they have $200 million of revenue on ice mountain. That’s no jelly bean. It’s the same. I feel we will get our bronco it just the timing. It’s clearly not a priority for many possible reasons. We still have a almost build bronco in our name and they have a world of demand with...
  7. šŸ›  1/17/2022 Build week group

But their is a chip shortage!
  8. šŸ›  1/17/2022 Build week group

You guys are throwing me off saying ā€œ4 digitā€ tear tag. Just to be precise , I think you mean 4 characters (letters and digits)?
  9. She is home and spectacular!

Congrats šŸŽ‰!!! We’re you on ice mountain? Build week?
  10. Ford to email that scheduled 2021 model year units will be ready for shipment by March 31, 2022

Agree but would be generous to call it a system more like pick up the pieces
  11. Video: Bronco Spring Mountain (Holding Yard) as of 3/20/22

But my point wasn’t that. It was just communication of a plan to work through the chip hold bronco. That is a fair point. The whole reservation system was at least mis-represented and a core reason for the complaints. Ford should take responsibility.
  12. Video: Bronco Spring Mountain (Holding Yard) as of 3/20/22

There was no mention of a chip hold if you are referring to the spam email which was send out Friday - 6 weeks too late. It just said a delay with no plan. Changing a plan is not lying and sharing a plan is transparency. They communicate detailed production tracking information. Since when...
  13. Video: Bronco Spring Mountain (Holding Yard) as of 3/20/22

Like Email, social media, press release, etc. there was no official Ford communication to order holders on chip hold. Like a plan ā€œ we ran short of _____ and we plan to complete 500 per week for x weeks and your vin will get the module added in week X/x.ā€ …Add disclaimer Simple stuff they...
  14. Saw this today

The wrap 360 is probably an just an ad on the ford show truck.
  15. Video: Bronco Spring Mountain (Holding Yard) as of 3/20/22

Ture but you also need to factor in that they have 1500 chips throughout the car and they are in 25+ modules. They supply / make the critical modules first priority. They use the non critical modules for a closer JIT supply. There is a complexity to managing ā€œchip supplyā€ because of this. Also...
  16. Video: Bronco Spring Mountain (Holding Yard) as of 3/20/22

No the in iconic silver one was mine 😃 yours was the one with hood up. Haha
  17. "Here's the Latest On Your Vehicle" spam email from Ford

The one thing we have is a vehicle build (or mostly). They don’t care about us agree but they care about their revenue. The deliveries impact quarterly stock evaluations and since they couldn’t deliverQ1 we were simply slipped to Q2. That’s what it’s all about. By the end of Q2 (end of June) we...
  18. "Here's the Latest On Your Vehicle" spam email from Ford

Yes May is the plan and has been. They don’t install chips directly on to vehicles. They are installed in modules which are made prior to production. They can regulate chip supply by making less of non critical modules. This appears to be what happened. But the big issue is not May or chip...
  19. More bad news regarding chips

Taiwan makes a lot of chips but not for the auto industry. Autos are a 10% of chips and those are 75% made in this Japan factory mentioned here. They are adding US supplies. Ford purchased a supplier in the US last year. The neon is used in the parts in the chip factory not the chips...
  20. "Here's the Latest On Your Vehicle" spam email from Ford

FOLKS I’M SHOUTING!!! Time to get more squeaky!!!! There will be cynic’s but a little more group noise is needed IMO. 3 ways: 1. That email was not a no reply email. Who knows where it goes but give your opinion in a reply. 2 call the 800# Ford customer support until we jam the lines 3. Hit up...
