I was going to trade my Mustang on the left for the Mustang on the right...
But now I am am going to trade it in for the Bronco.... why? Snow is a big reason, but there are others...
Wait... what would these doors actually be used for?
This makes no sense.
I want to get a 2-door with the holes that you see in the launch video. Why?
1. Likely, it will come with some kind of panel in case it rains or is left in a parking lot (for security). If not, that would be a nice...
It was eye opening to me to see how good residual values are on Jeep Wranglers.
If I get the base model for 4 years and the car depreciates from $30K (base model) down to $18K... it is better to buy than lease (assuming low interest rate or cash).
My dealer sales guy guessed that the lease...
I remember it as eleventy billion accessories.
Regardless, just tell me how much the door with a hole (painted) on a two door will be, so I don't have to hide the OEM ones behind some tumbleweed, OK?
That is the only flaw I see with the 2 door.
Jumping right into a 300HP+ Mustang and taking it on a test drive after not driving a stick for 20+ years (I had a manual transmission Saturn in the 90s) was not the easiest thing in the world. I would imagine an old Jeep would be much easier.
The 2 door Base Model Manual Transmission with Steel Wheels is what I Immediately wanted.
That configuration is what will make it possible for me to have a Bronco and it is the closest thing you can get to the Original Bronco.
After I get it, I can get special wheels/tires like I can get...
If the car is that hot, then it will be leasable IMO.
Mustangs lease out starting in the $350-400 range according to my sales guy. He expects Bronco to be in that range, but obviously cannot promise anything until as he says "they are on the ground".
Hope this helps!
The crawler gear looks perfect to teach my wife and daughter how to drive a stick!
I had not driven a stick in 20+ years before I got my 2016 Mustang. It seemed like half the dealership was watching me when I took a test drive with the car, perhaps hoping to get a laugh. The sales guy even...
2Dr Base. Manual Transmission.
Love the steel wheel retro look, and love that it will have removable doors and HARDTOP (only on 2dr. It's a soft top on a 4 door).
I will treat the wheels/tire like shoes and look forward to getting new/bigger ones after I get the Bronco. I will get wheels that...
You make a decent point, though I am looking at it as MY trade in value, not the retail value of a 4 year old one sold by me personally. I figure you have to factor in 10% "transaction costs" when trading in a vehicle. I don't have time or temperament to "Craigslist sell" my car with strangers...
I am getting the Base model for two reasons:
1. Resale. Once these things get into the market, the extra features generally depreciate more. Getting one of these under $30K means that I can sell it for $17K 4 years later (assuming it devalues like a Jeep). I can handle $13K for 4 years. I cannot...
