I bought a HF winch a couple years back. Used a couple of times, no issues. Getting ready to relocate it to my equipment trailer cause if it fails, it won't be critical. Buying a new Sherpa for the Bronco, cause I can't tolerate a failure in this application. Guess I'm buying peace of mind.
I recall reading somewhere on the forum that the seats sit on studs, with nuts holding them down. I had been planning on removing the seats, but if they used studs, unless you grind them off (in which case you can not put the seats back again) you will have studs sticking up out of the floor.
Delta, here's how I see it. If you are intending on keeping the FE pristine for it's resale value, then you'll get more at trade in.
