I had a similar experience, when I added my HOSS 3.0 to my build, the new print out didn't show the tow package I had originally ordered. Contacted the dealer and had it added back, "no idea how that happened" was the response.
You have plenty of time to consider an extended warranty. You have 3 years 36,000 to begin with. I just don't see the necessity to buy one at time of purchase. I have bought extended warranties on my last two vehicles, a Mountaineer and Expedition. I bought them when I had around 20,000...
Just curious, being that 2022 orders have been halted and the new 22.5 increase is out, can you still change dealerships? If you can, will it trigger the new pricing? no changes will be made to the order. Do you still keep your original order date? Just trying to make an informative decision.
No I didn't ask when I placed the order. Didn't really think about until I talked with my brother today. I was the only one in the family that DIDN'T work at Fords. Is that pricing figured in at the time of sale?
Funny, I was just looking at that today, have the same ordered, Wildtrac with HOSS and the modular bumper. I was searching for the best fog light for the front. I'll be following. Also ordered on the same date.
Just wondering how successful anyone has been in using the A/Z plan during their purchase. How much was the savings over the MSRP? Are dealers receptive to the plan or is it like pulling teeth?
Well, here we go again. I was under the impression that adding the HOSS 3.0 would not trigger the price increase as it's not a series, etc. change. Seems didn't matter what your configuration, the new window stickers reflect the increase.
Go to 8:25 on the timeline, he touches on the HOSS...
Help me digest this, so if your not part of the pre March /19/21 and you do not make a series, package change , it appears you may have some protection, as a change MAY result in a price increase. I'm scratching my head.
