I am SOOO busy this week, and my assistant is out another day. I am really concerned about how my production will be haha. I promise, I will stop everything I am doing to go get my Bronco when she hits the dealership though.
P.S. Be prepared for lots of pointing, smiles and pictures when...
Thank you! I know there is someone in here that can find your car number, but I had asked my dealer for mine when we picked up the FE (mine shipped the day before I believe). I bet we are on the same train! That would be so awesome, 2 Wildtraks arriving together. :-) I just called back and...
I know, I'm so excited! We went to the Nutcracker in downtown Houston last night, and a train loaded with vehicles passed by. I was just certain mine was on there, but it wasn't lol. No idea what city CSX was trying to say it had departed from when we left the ballet, so called 2 hours later...
Hey there! Do you know your car number? My Bronco actually made it to Pearland this morning at 4:14am, so now comes the hard part...waiting on a truck to pick it up haha. It took 7 days for my fiancé's to be picked up and delivered 14.8 miles away to McRee Ford. I plan to call later this...
Our other bronco arrived to rail yard on a Saturday, but not unloaded from rail car until Monday or tuesday afternoon. Dealer received the following Saturday (7 days after local arrival) and we purchased a couple of hours later. Distance was within 15 miles too.
Who-hoo! My Bronco made it to Arkansas City, Kansas overnight. Only 574 miles to Pearland, TX lol. Fiancé laughed when he saw my notes from calling CSX daily, but I'm obsessed.
Were you finally able to track your railcar? Curious if we made it on the same train to Texas. My bronco departed for Chicago this morning at 8:25am. I know it will probably sit at the railyard for @ a week before I can pick it up based on fiancé's order. :-(
On a bright note, our dealer...
I have noticed most arriving a week early, and am hopeful that remains true! I wanted a Christmas Bronco too...but they have me down for 12/31. No built email, no picture, etc. Took 6 days to build my fiancé's FE, and 10 days to get to Houston. His ETA is 12/4-12/11, but his Bronco did...
It's just maddening!! I used Ron Carter in Alvin for years, b/c I loved my sales person. When I bought my current car in early 2017...all I could talk about was the Bronco and how this was just a transition vehicle until they relaunched the Bronco. Sadly, my guy left and I decided to go with...
You have to be close!! I sure hope they turn it up a notch at MAP and get you built. :-) I haven't received a built email, and my eta is 12/31 to Houston....but did sleep a bit better knowing modules were on lol. Today is your day, totally feel it!
I completely understand how that goes...I had something similar happen in my past career too. Totally sucked, but I found the blessing that I no longer had to work with toxic people anymore. It will all work out for the better. In the meantime, enjoy those little things he's able to do to help...
Ugh, I am so sorry to hear that! I hope your husband finds a better job soon. Not sure what line of work he's in, but I can keep an ear out (I'm in Houston area too). Too cliché to say "hang in there" after the wait we've all been through. I won't lie, I am a bit jealous that my fiancé's...
I wish I knew the answer to that one lol! I saw a thread a bit ago about someone writing the executives about QC issues, and Ford called the person back today. I thought...well, guess that's what has slowed things down today!
