I definitely love the idea of the soft top but just couldnāt fall in love with the OEM one. I do plan on getting the sun rider though As sort of a compromise.
Iāll be getting the Wildtrak, so no MGV or active drains. If it was an option on the Wildtrak, I would have gotten it. It would have...
I ordered the MIC top, so weāll see how that holds up. The tow hitch is something Iāll have to aftermarket. I initially had the tow pkg (for 2 years), but removed it right before I got scheduled a few days ago. Dunno if I got lucky or unlucky by removing it and then getting scheduled.
Iām...
OK. Time for me to pick the brains of all you current owners. Since us future owners are fortunate enough to learn from the early owners, is there anything you wish you knew/bought earlier on that would have made ownership easier/better?
Yes, I know. It's a question that could go in so many...
Congrats to all scheduled today. I was also lucky enough to get the email for the week of April 10th!! A long journey to this point, but hopefully the start of something great!
Just got the dreaded contact from the dealer letting me know I will most likely not get a 2023. This is absolutely nuts. Day 3 res, but since it's a Wildtrak (I do not want to change my trim) who knows if I'll ever get it. :confused:
For now I told them to not cancel my order and COVP it...
I'm wondering if it's possible to use the tear-away protection film that NASCAR uses for their windshields. With the luck you and many others are having with cracks, it may be worth it if it's possible. š¤·āāļø
Congratulations! I got a call just now as well, but it was to let me know that my order will be converted to a 23. But itās still good to hear that more Brewster orders are trickling in. Almost making me hopeful for an early 23 build.
I've been out of the loop for some time now. Is Brewster reaching out to those that were scheduled? Cause if they are, I guess I'm also not scheduled.
One of these days I'll be surprised with a "Congratulations! Your Bronco is scheduled!"
Or better yet, "Your Bronco has arrived at Brewster!"...
If the leaked screenshot is to be trusted, it looks like AMB won't be making a return. And the Mod-tops are still a "late-availability" which I think was the case since 2021.
Like everyone is saying, I would take the 22 and run. I know it's less than 3 weeks for the 23 order banks to open, but even if AMB becomes available, I wonder if I would trust Ford to have the Mod top available right away. Worst case is to get the 22 and in a couple years the resale value...
.....Maybe this year.....
I was hoping for this summer, but seems my build doesn't want to happen. So even if Brewster has allocations, who knows if Ford will be able to build it.
~~~Wildtrak, Mic Top, Tow Pkg~~~
I'm sure there's plenty of people at Brewster still waiting. I'm a July 15 reservation with a Wildtrak and MIC top + many constraints. I'm basically over getting annoyed since it's out of my control. Guess I'll get it when I get it. š¤·āāļø
It helps seeing you guys that did take delivery...
From all the documentation I've seen, I don't think the capable bumper is standard on the Wildtrak. Seems like the superstars messed the B&P once again.
Added HD Mod bumper on my build anyway.
Ah I see. Thanks for the info. Didn't know it was a state max. That's good to know.
Looks like they did raise the max allowable to 175 for 2022.
Guess the Ford delays earned Brewster another 100.
For those who have a '22 at Brew, did they up the fee from 75 to 175? Thought the invoice deal (with the $75 fee) included the 22 year model. š¤·āāļø
Honestly, at this point, I'm not gonna quibble over a hundred, but curious to see everyone else. I just want my damn Bronco.
