I called Holley today to ask about my rust issue and what I got was nothing. After getting connected to 3 different reps, the guy I last talked to said āitās normal for paint to burn off after a few heat cycles and 409 stainless will start to surface rust. Best bet to sand it and spray some...
Now that I have had the Flowmaster American Thunder for 5 weeks now, 409 stainless also. Did not realize this will burn paint off and surface rust. And guess what, they said itās normal and nothing they will do. No more Flowmaster for me.
Itās right there in the latch, not sure what type of switch it is, but it is there no adjustment that I noticed. I gave it a quick look and thatās all. (My post above) it only started doing that after I raised the hood stops to tighten the hood.
Hood stops lower. Ours on the Wildtrak was triggering the alarm every so often. But turned a Quarter turn on the stops and no more random alarm triggers.
Damn, similar situation. Last weekend. Beech Mountain Ski resort in NC. We went on Friday to check the place out having never been before. Came back Saturday to snowboard and whatever else. When we got there, all parking lots full, no where to go. People were already parked on the roadside...
This pic is our trip last weekend from my driveway in FL to our cabin in NC, all our weekend driving, sport, manual, up and down mountain roads. Trip to and from home, OE roof rails, with a rack and soft luggage carrier, 4 suitcases, and the back filled with everything else we bring. First tank...
Very cool build though. Like to see ideas for ours. We were just in NC last week. I didnāt get to take the Bronco exploring off road and bummed because of it. We were right down the road from Patriot Mountain ORV park, 2 miles. Damn.
Would not work. The limiter is just programmed to not let the vehicle accelerate past that speed. No cutting out, not shutting down, just no more go. Changing the tire size in forscan wonāt do anything for that.
A lot of dealers were/are charging more for out of state residents. āRequiredā probably just means their in-house policy. I personally donāt think $5k over is too bad for such a highly sought vehicle, but thatās my limit. But thatās just me, youāll read many stories about vehicles with an ADM...
I like the performance and sound from the Flowmaster American Thunder, it is what I picked. But it has some rust issues. My review under 2.7 exhaust/engine mods sections.
