Hello Ford,
There is nothing that can be fixed. Sync 4 has absolute garbage for CarPlay connectivity. Everyone on the Sync 4 development team should probably be fired as Ford needs a fresh start. As an interim Ford could buy radios from Volkswagen Automotive Group as connectivity in my 2019 GTI...
Not that I would be doing this anytime soon, but, if I would go to an M210 I would do it at the same time...
Does this mean one could ship the rack directly to you, pay you for your work and shipping, and you could ship it back to a person?
I think the % gains in torque might be greater at lower than rated rpm, at least on the 2.3. Detonation is usually a bigger issue at lower rpm. I wonder if Ford ever published hp and torque curves with and without premium fuel.
The guy who doesn't read your first post and comments about how his his fine with an automatic and a hot rodded engine is not being helpful. First, with a manual you will be keenly aware of ratio mismatches because you will be doing the shifting. Second, because he either doesn't know which...
Might want to add some $ for gears to the budget. I think 37's would be a dog with the 4.7 ratio. (You will have the same ratio with or without Sasquatch so still no reason to pay extra for Sasquatch.)
Well, I'm on 33's now with 5100's set at 1" of lift (same as Sasquatch, more than Badlands). Even if I go to 35's and add a FP M210 locker I'm still cheaper. But I turn my own wrenches, which seems to be out of style these days.
Hello all,
Has anyone patched marine grade vinyl? I have a working dog, and, very unprofessionally, let her ride in the back seat. I have (had) a neoprene rear seat cover. When she jumped in my truck yesterday morning it shredded and left two small tears in the vinyl underneath. I am not...
Apparently you do not have a solution but you sold a customer a really expensive set of shocks that don’t work as advertised. You either don’t know the products you sell or you don’t care. if I were you I’d be up late finding a shop that can find the source of the problem. Until then you are...
I went 1" and 1" as I couldn't care less about looking level unloaded when I often am carrying a bunch of stuff. Even there I lost a bit of rake.
I will likely go to 1.5" front if I add a winch or maybe 1.5" front and rear. I'll be buying a ratcheting box end wrench before changing the rears...
Go to Bilstein 5100's, set the ride height at 1" or 1.5" over stock, and enjoy better suspension and the higher ride height for under $800 in parts without worrying about your CV's getting overextended at full droop.
285/70 17 (33's) standard load. The choice was between that and LT-E and the MT tech guy said go SL for my 4-5 off road trips per year or I would be enduring a crappy ride and mileage the rest of the year, and said the SL sidewalls are plenty strong -- but carry a spare and pick up tire...
A set of Bilstein 5100's will cost you less than $800, are ride height adjustable from 1" to something close to 3", and will greatly improve your on-road experience. After this weekend I should be able to report off-road performance.
I have mine set at 1" of lift and along with MT Baja Belted...
The difference in height between the roll center and the CG is what causes body "roll" when lateral forces are present such as in turning or in off-camber situations. As this distance increases it will increase susceptibility to rollover. Adding a rear anti-sway bar will increase resistance to...
