I am not a reservation holder. The ford rep referenced an order change on 1/26/2022 (obviously before the MSRP change) as the reason I wasn’t protected. According to ford as long as the order wasnt altered after 3/7/2022 I should have been protected.
My dealership has made the claim I’m not protected. This comes via their ford rep. The claim is because of a change to the order on 1/26/2022 I’m ineligible, ford calls this a PEP change. However, the following verbiage is from Ford FAQ website and is contrary to what they’re telling me. an...
According to Fords FAQ I should have been protected to 2022 pricing. Just received my window sticker and Mid-Y2022 was used. Anybody else had to deal with this? See attached order and corresponding sticker. Thanks in advance for any help/advice. I have this, a Ranger and an Explorer on...
This is probably in another thread but can you run the front panels only without the rear shell? I would want to run the bikini is a flash storm because there isn’t a good seal at the windshield. With the front panels on and the vehicle moving the rear passengers would probably stay dry. They...
Why don’t you just keep your current daily driver and go buy a $10k Jeep TJ. They’re a blast to drive and hold their value just as well as a Tacoma or bronco. You will get your kicks out of it. I don’t think they make good daily drivers because they’re so small but you just might fall in love...
I bought a bucking bronco tire cover for the spare. Still not sure what to do with the BD wheels and tires. Like to believe I can get at least $1000 for them. Or I could use them for my winter beaters since it looks like my bronco will be a daily driver now (instead of the garage queen I...
This introduces another variable. Is it a late model, lower mileage dealership brand? If yes, they can put it on their lot and maximize profit. Anything else and it wholesales for what I’m sure is very short money.
Here’s some honesty. Industrial widgets, pumps, seals, etc…. I can go anywhere from 25% to 50% gross profit. There’s been times where I’ve seen 90% gross…. That’s 10x markup fyi. For anybody shocked, this is the way the world works.
Still no Boy Scouts willing to state what typical gross...
I don’t see how that can be. There would be no motivation to achieve max sell price. In this case, all sales people would be salary. Good luck with that model.
I’m in industrial sales. I know what profit margins we achieve because I have discretion on sell price for every sale I make. I don’t need permission from a manager. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. What I’m curious about is not how much a car sales guy makes. What I want...
I plan on running 2021 f150 STX 18” wheels. I already have them wrapped in 275 70 Firestone destination mt2’s. Here are the adaptors I ordered. I thought I had it right but they called and corrected it. I deferred to them since they’re making them and should assume responsibility if there is...
I really like the concept of these but has anybody though about the amount of snow and salt that will collect in these. I’d be concerned about corrosion on the plates and the winch. Some way of covering the fair lead during winter driving would be nice.
One of the worse features of the stop start is that it starts the vehicle back up when shifted in to park. Wtf? Every time My wife’s explorer goes into the garage it shuts off, shift in to park, it starts up, press ignition button and it stops. Stupid.
