Just my 2 cents. #1 is to have front and rear lockers. Tire size not as important! Don't know how us EB people ever survived with tiny 29" tires and less ground clearance than most of these new Broncos were getting. You may not think you need a front locker until you need it. To me that's way...
I know everyone nowadays seems like they need a ton of space in every vehicle. Don't know how we ever survived as kids lol! I'm sure it'll be fine if off-roading and adventuring is the main reason for the Bronco. If you want a compromise, I'm a big Expedition fan. I even did an ICON...
Last time I lived in a place I had to worry about it, I'd remove I believe a starter really chip under the hood. Removed it EVERY time to at least eliminate all but a truck loading it up and hauling it away. Did the same for my crotch rocket. Saved me once!
Badlands has the 33s. OBX, 32s.
Funny how it annoys people so much to ask about mpg estimates. Some want to get an idea on cost per year and for me, it's off-road range with the tiny tanks. It's not an insignificant thing when you need to consider how much gas you have to carry. Some people...
I wouldn't worry about it. Yes, the manual crawl ratio is a crazy 94-1. The 2.7L auto is 68-1 which is still really good. The Jeep Rubicon is 84-1 but the new 392 v8 Jeep is only 48-1. Don't think we have to worry. And besides, on that one steep right hand turn on Black Bear, you can always use...
Interesting. I looked up the LT285/70r17 and it says Thailand. I wonder where all the U.S. Falken tires are going from the large plant near Buffalo, NY? Need to do some more research. I'm fine with Thailand as I have friends there but I also avoid China as much as possible (it's honestly seems...
I don't think we have to worry about anything. Once we start driving our Badlands, we won't even think about what's going on with the Bronco for a few years. We'll be having way too much fun!
#3 of 5 allocations. 8 initially reserved but I believe 2 cancelled but based on my order and what the 2 ahead of me ordered, they expect mine to be the first one built for them! I'm just a little stoked that I might get some summer fun! Reserved the evening of 7/18.
At least 53 years and 5 months, that's how long it's been for my 68 Bronco (Dad bought it new in Sep of 67 and he gave it to me many years ago). Imagine what they'll be saying about our Bronco in 2074? The smiles will never leave nor will the memories!
I'll stick with 16-19 or 17-20 for Sasquatch BL with 2.7L
and 18-21 or 19-22 for Stock BL with 2.7L
I definitely care about mileage as it's just a pain to carry enough fuel. Who wants to carry 15-20g of gas for every long day. If we can get 19-20 (or more) on normal dirt roads (not rock...
Nothing really new (except traffic jam and live atv flipping) but it's another video I found. Don't believe it's posted yet. Sounded like Curt said the Broncos are tested at up to 120 mph in this area (said this right near the end of the video).
