Okay....not sure about the metrics.....besides the MIC tops, where are we seeing the issues in quality on the 21-25 runs?
I'm pretty satisfied this far and I do say, I enjoy driving and using this vehicle every day.
Any of the 21 and high mileage folks have any observations on how the overall...
Yup, my 24 BL 4dr with 16K has cracks on the passenger front panel. It has been that way since I noticed at about 12K. I've had this thing for about 8 months now (summer- winter), and no other cracks detected. I first notice when I was installing the roof rack. I'm assuming since it is a 24...
You made a very good selection, package wise, the Badlands is pretty amazing. @ThunderFlash is on point, lighting is an issue on the bronco. There is plenty of armor on the BL model, but as you see, there can be a need for a few more areas if you decide to USE your new ride as it was attended...
I dropped my 24 off at the local Ford DS to have the 10K safety inspection and tire rotation. I chalk marked my tires prior, and requested the 5 tire rotation per my request, they really didn't come close. I asked one tech some transmission fluid check/change questions and he looked at me as...
I'm in the process of either doing a 1 inch level kit front and adding one to the top rear or a 2 inch, and see if I can get it raised with a little rake in the rear. I just want to get a little more clearance and keep the sasquatch performance without the strut collars messing up the geometry...
Looks as it should! That is the stance I am going for.
I have both of the 1 inch level kits on hand, just need a thaw out to make it happen. Still a foot of snow on the ground.......stupid cold.
It sits 3/4 inch high in the rear as of now, but think I will put the 3/8 spacer on the rear and...
Best guess is that the manufacturer of distributor hasn't updated since they last published or printed. It is all (suspension) the same 21 through 25, on the different set up "packages" as far as we have seen. Big defenses is the BL, WT, Sasquatch, and raptor, who use different shock set ups...
Okay.....lots of banter on the handles of the 26 Base Squatch, good or bad. The one thing that caught my attention was it was a pre-production......that is going to get "crushed!?!"
So, since it is an early pre-production VIN, it has to be destroyed? Sounds rather wasteful and sad.
Thanks for the lighting links, I WILL be doing that after the thaw out. Its STUPID cold!
I have 2 of the 1 inch level kits, so I will be installing on the front and upper rear. I hope that I will be riiiiiight inside the space available to get in and out of the house garage without airing...
Yes, that set up is pricey with Maxtrax alone $300, and then you have the plate and post brackets. It looks and functions well!
I may see what I can engineer with what I have on hand or throw something together.
They both are excellent on all sorts of terrain, even pavement. For the cost, the Yokos are your first option if you want trail stability involving rocks. The BFG sidewalls may be better, but no one is complaining about the others. Lol
I have both treads, one on an 86 Bronco and the other on my Taco.
Both sets are new and haven't had a chance to get any wear observations.
My KM1s lasted over a decade and I have heard great things for both treads.
I'm assuming the Yokos are much cheaper?????
Can never go wrong with BFG.....just...
I made an arctic supply run today after rolling the Bronco out of the garage for the first time since last Friday evening. I picked up 10 bags of wood pellets, 3 bags of deer feed, 2 bags of bird seed, 2 bags of salt and a 6 pack of cider along with a bottle of Angel's Envy.
As I rolled...
