The HS8 has a number of holes on the backside, and includes two lengths of screws. The holes that are meant for the “dog ear” corner brackets (they include, but I didn’t use) will align with the slotted openings on the MOLLE panel in “portrait” mode for sure, and probably also “landscape”. Cheers!

I bought the Chinese grill on Amazon and it was pretty straightforward to swap. You may need to slightly mod the opening for the front camera, but it’s seriously a minor deal- nipping out a couple of plastic struts. No biggie.
