Replying to your old post but actually if you rotate every 5k miles, each of your 5 tires will have 20k miles on them. Your Bronco will have 25k miles but each tire will have spent 5k miles as a spare. So after 50k miles, each tire will have 40k miles since each has spent 2 x 5k as a spare. 20%...
Because I grew up in a 68 Bronco, drove it myself for the past 40 years and we (dad and I) never felt the jeep was remotely as good as the original stock Bronco. My only question is the new Bronco as good as the old Bronco? Looking forward to answering that in the coming years.
Thanks for posting that! I still have my dad's original '68 Bronco (he bought it new in the fall of '67). So many memories. That Bronco could go anywhere and NEVER left us (or me) stranded. I'm still waiting to see how my '23 Badlands compares. No doubt more comfortable but the old Broncos where...
Raincoat. I grew up with a '68 Bronco (handed down to me now) and we spent a lot of the time with the top off, sometimes doors off and front window down. Know the Rocky Mountain weather well.
I honestly carry a floor jack at all times. Coming from the Raptor world where flats are frequent (must be hitting all those rocks at 100 mph), I always carry a floor jack and impact wrench.
I cancelled my reservation over 2 years ago and drove a Bronco Sport during that period. Loved that vehicle but after driving this beast for the past 10 days, it's pure joy every time I head out for a drive or even look at it. Coming from the Raptor world for 7 years, the feeling is similar but...
Drove one home off the lot Saturday! It's been a long, crazy ride. I originally ordered one in July of 2020, cancelled in May of 2021 when Ford just couldn't give us any idea when it would be built. Drove a Bronco Sport Badlands for 2 1/2 years. Which was a great vehicle but when I saw this one...
Just be careful you might find out how fun the Bronco Sport truly is. I have 27k miles on my Badlands BS and it has quickly climbed the ranks of my all-time favorite vehicles I've owned. A little goat (small enough for the trails) off-road, great mileage that keeps getting better (quite a few...
Trying to remain positive but Friday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend? Not 9 am but 2 pm when everyone is already starting their first big weekend of the summer? If they can't give us a reasonable build/delivery date tomorrow, then they really have no idea and that's not good. We shall see...
Looks sweet! Black always looks good! Don't know why everyone thinks it has to be all shiny clean to look good. I know my older black Escape always looked good even when dirty.
Thanks for sharing! Coming from the Raptor world, I was actually glad to see even a Sasquatch Bronco look noticeably smaller. Great for the trails. Huge ground clearance but not as wide. Perfect!!
