I think going to the dealer is important. At least to get it documented as a manufacturer defect. Whether you get it fixed then and there or ask them to contact FORD is another issue.

I’m in the same boat.
My silver lining is the dealer’s email last Wednesday informing me that my order was “sent to the plant “ on the 22nd. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽
I guess it’s late enough in the day to assume nothing is going to happen till Monday!
