I guess I may one of the few that had an exposed spare rear tire explode on my old Bronco. I never rotated it in. Heck I never rotated anything back in the 80's. Lesson learned.
My first car. A 59 Ford Galaxie had a 352 police interceptor engine. 300Hp in the hands of a teenager. Was awesome times. Had a Borg Warner manual with overdrive and could do 80 in 2nd gear overdrive. Would bury the speedo in 3rd.
On our Rubicon we just took the 3rd brake light off. Never stopped for it being missing and no problems with state inspections. The states we trave to most are Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah. No issues in any of those states. For our Braptor we put on the ring.
Are the Braptor seats the same size as the regular Bronco. We are wanting to put seat covers on ours to protect the area where you get in and out. We put Carhartt covers in our Jeep and they worked fine but not a fan of how they install with bungie cords, etc. They just didn't look...
We’ve gone Ophir a couple of times and not a fan of it. It has a lot of shale and rock and the views are better on other trails. Imogene has better views and not that difficult.
Most of the trails in the area don’t need skid plates except mineral Creek. That one will beat you to death...
You should be fine without skid plates on Imogene. We run it every summer in June or July. But you never know about the weather and conditions in the high altitudes. That being said you should be okay in July. We will be up there in July so maybe will bump into you.
Auto Buero brake light
I ordered this off Amazon. I couldn't find any that actually would plug and play with the Braptor. My guess is that it is because the Braptor has 3 wires and one of those is for the wide body lights. There are 2 obstacles that are fairly easy to overcome when installing...
I think they just need to match the era of the car. My first car was a 59 ford and It had chrome reverse rims. My 80's Bronco had white rims with wheel covers so you couldn't even see the rims. My 67 Scout (in avatar) had white rims. for our Jeep we switched to 35's with Buckshot rims when...
I searched and found this thread as in this cold weather it feels like cool air if any is coming from the floor vents. Can someone summarize what the best settings should be to warm up the front leg/feet area?
My IH Scout it was a thumbs up. Motorcycle a sideways wave. Jeep a fingers up from the steering wheel or a wave. My Bronco.... hmmm will see.... at this point I haven't had many opportunities as passing one is still rare and we haven't had it long.
Not sure if this will apply to new vehicles but in the 80's we had a Mitsibitchy van and a Bronco. Lived in Ohio and were going to drive back to Texas in the van as it had more room. It was winter and minus double digits. So early before down I got up to start the van and it would crank but...
Even in person there are risks. I used to have a gun store and a couple of times customers would tell me they got jacked meeting someone to buy/sell a gun. I told them next time to meet at my store for stuff like that. Cause everyone in my store was armed.
Searched the forum and found the subee brand mentioned but it's not plug in ready (has to be modified to fit the Braptor). Are there any that are specifically for the Braptor. I'd like to remove the factory one to gain a little visibility out the rear window. I will admit that I removed the...
