likely a production decision. since ford is not offering a soft top for 2 doors , they likely are shifting production to knock out all the 2 door orders they have so they can move onto the hard tops for the 4 doors which are likely much higher in number.

if they are bringing it up in an email about tops i would expect this to be the case. If you want the mod top (aka the better hard top) and you ordered a 4 door i would call your dealer and ask for the soft top and prep kit and save your pennies for the mod top

mod top is not the same thing as a hard top nobody has seen a mod top in person they dont even exist yet

im guessing if they are pushing softtops and free prep kits they are focusing production for hard tops on 2 door customers. which makes sense

okay so they say in the podcast that they are putting all the main off roading rigs (defender , jeep , bronco ect) in a off road death match in a few weeks so the really good content is still a few weeks away , they say then still need to secure a bronco for themselves
