  1. Roof top tent for 2 door? 🤯

I used the Hooke Road before this and it would give me a headache after an hour. I'll be avoiding the "erector set" styles from now on.
  2. Why do Jeep owners hate us??

Don't ask me how I feel about Toyota. I can just picture it, the confused neighbors when you jump in one of the jeeps and flip off your Bronco and the "Could I be bipolar?" pamphlets your wife leaves on the coffee table. :ROFLMAO:
  3. Ursa B30 Roof Tent - Replaces hardtop with a hardtop/tent

Not quite long enough. My RTT at 83" overhangs just a little. To do one of these for the 2dr and fit anyone over 5' 8" they'd have to at minimum stand up the back glass at 90 degrees, or maybe integrate a sun visor into it on the front. I do like the concept and my long term goal is to build my...
  4. 2026 Bronco 60th Anniversary Package Announced & Revealed

The color scheme is very nice but as a whole this doesn't move me, a lack of a 2dr will do that. I think a lot here are conflating anniversary with heritage/classic. Which is fair since Ford already muddled the waters with the throwback touches.
  5. Purchased used but CPO Bronco 2 door / 2.3L Manual - 3rd gear grinding

It's no NP435, the average shade tree mechanic could rebuild one of those. @Ducati1098 can speak on it with authority, but I'm pretty sure Ford is not a big fan of techs just winging it on stuff they haven't been trained on.
  6. What’s the Greatest Adventure Your Bronco Has Taken You On? 🚙🌄

3 weeks of wheeling and camping in California and Nevada. The Rubicon, Barrett, Sourgrass, Slickrock, Deer Valley, the NV desert, and Super Cel NV. The tip over was pretty unforgettable.
  7. Need a car shipping company

Not cross country, but I've used uship twice now, once for 400 miles and once for 800. Very affordable and both drivers were great.
  8. Roof top tent for 2 door? 🤯

Chonky boi. I'm assuming that thing is far beyond the OEM rack's rating. Be careful with your rack selection. I started with a Hooke Road and it howled like a banshee. Have a ZRoadz now and it's pretty quiet.
  9. I had NO IDEA

I saw these the other day, I'd probably do that if I didn't have the OEM switches.
  10. Purchased used but CPO Bronco 2 door / 2.3L Manual - 3rd gear grinding

After 23 years it's probably getting a little tired. Check out this thread. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/tsb-23-2219-mt88-manual-transmission-no-3rd-gear-and-or-grinding-noise-going-into-3rd-and-or-4th-gear.82393/
  11. Comparison: 2.3L Ecoboost vs the Legendary 271HP 289

That doesn't clear things up at all, what if I'm all asshole?
  12. Single tire needed replacement. Put back into rotation or keep as spare?

I've mixed in new with as low as 75% and been fine, but I think you're pushing it at 50%. But this isn't some super advanced AWD either and isn't that sensitive. For anyone dealing with this in the future, take a look at United Tires. For pretty cheap you can get a tire with some wear on it...
  13. Wasp infestation - is spray safe for MIC parts?

That might just work. I tried to get some Sevin in there but it mostly went everywhere but the crack. Worst case I'll take the top off at night when it's cool.
  14. Wasp infestation - is spray safe for MIC parts?

Found another lair, between the hard top and B pillar, look closely in the crack. I put up a trap and have been spraying the crap out of my F100, it's infested too (had it in Boise with me) but all metal and patina paint so I'm not so worried about a reaction.
  15. Can I tow this specific trailer?

What? He's 1000lb under the rating, and still 600lb under his calculated rating. That Bronco will haul that tiny thing to the end of the earth and back without a care.
  16. Comparison: 2.3L Ecoboost vs the Legendary 271HP 289

But muh 100 lb/ft... Isn't that 289 rated under the old system? So head to head in the real world the 2.3 probably crushes it.
  17. Can I tow this specific trailer?

Your logic adds up if you're trying to stay legal. Personally I've found these things to be extremely underrated, they should have been 5k rated. That teardrop will tow nicely. I also recommend a WDH even at these lighter weights mainly due to the soft springs, it feels much better to get some...
  18. Cutting out rockers and replacing with box tube.

Decided not to do box and instead bent some steel about twice as thick as original to rebuild the rockers.
  19. [EDIT:] Ford won't reimburse me for my recalled rear shocks.

I'm out of luck then, no labor charges and no receipt for the shocks.
