Unfortunately my inquires resulted in $300+ quotes for out of pocket key replacements. From a FORD dealer. It seems to be pretty common based on what others are saying. Cheers.
As long as you have TWO fobs in your possession (mapped to your bronco) then it should work. The requirement that you have two fobs is intentional to prevent theft. The idea is that only the true owner would have both the main key and the spare key. Hope that helps.
If you have your original two keys from purchase/delivery then this is a must do. Stumbled on this from another thread.
Special shot out to @RagnarKon for the tip on this. His video is here.
Why do this? To have spare (fully functioning OEM) key fobs at a fraction of the cost to replace a lost...
Just tested on my 23 badlands with build date of 11/22. It does not do this. This is a new feature. I would really like this. Would be best if they role down when you grab the handle also.
Intersting. Thats nice. I need to test this on my 23 Badlands. I normally just walk up and enjoy the Auto Unlock feature. I hated having to click unlock with my Wrangler. So in theory mine could have this and I just never noticed because I never actually click "unlock" on the key fob. Knowing my...
This is exactly what I did. Its 100% possible. If you have the switch then that is one less part. You would still have to wire the lights, like I did so that two wires go into the factory fog cable and another (single wire) runs up to the aux switch. I have the white lights running to the...
I tried buying the ends with pre wired pig tails but what I ordered ended up not fitting. Search a bit more but could not find the actual name/model. What I ended up doing was putting my own pigtails into the connecter thats already there. So if you pull that cable out, you will see that a...
Selling a brand new set of Fox 2.5 Performance Elites with DSC adjusters for the bronco. I believe this will fit on all models with and without Sasquatch. Decided to go a different route. Never used. Brand new.
Part Numbers:
Rear pair: 883-06-213 - priced at $1,600
Front pair: 883-06-212 -...
Interesting. I thought the wildtrack came with the full skid plate package from factory. It must be a badlands thing. There is the front bash plate, which you seem have, then the engine and transfer case, which you do not have. The one thing I am not selling, I am keeping, is the gas tank plate...
Yah I moved to LA from Houston actually. I guess im going back. It will actually just be me and ol bronco. Everything esle is going in the shipping trucks. Wouldn't be too bad honestly. If I still have them at that time (around 11/28-30), I'll reach out again as we near and see if you're still...
Was just in the sand dunes this past weekend. Definitely heard clicking while ramping around. I thought it was the 4wd. No engine lights no codes no performance issues. Figured it was normal or part of the 4wd distribution (mechanical sounds). I was in sand mode. It happened most when I was...
