I'm in the same boat minus the kid. I've got a 80 Shepherd, and I'm getting a Malinois around Christmas/New Year. I'm eyeing a vehicle crate for 2 dogs that I hope will fit in the back if I trade my truck in for the Bronco.
Currently Iāve got a ā16 F150 with the 5.0. Iām eying a Bas Bronco with the 2.7 and keeping my F150 as a dedicated work truck and the bronco as my daily.
However, Iām also looking at trading my truck in for a gladiator if I canāt find a good deal or if I have a bad experience with my chosen dealer.
I just switched yesterday from Chastang... I considered Granger but wanted to stay local to keep costs down. Now I wish I had waited a day to see this.
Well I switched Dealers today. The one I had chosen has virtually disappeared in terms of contact. The dealer I switched to was extremely welcoming and answered all of my questions. Going with Planet Ford in Humble if anyone in the Houston area is wondering.
The only Ford parts I'm seriously looking at are the roof rack, towing package and the lights. The rest I'll be doing myself. Most likely a lift, aftermarket wheels and tires and some engine goodies.
I will most likely get some aftermarket parts for mine. I've found a set of wheels I like for my F150 that I will be adding on in a few months, and I really want a set of them to match for my Bronco.
Something similar, I'm planning on buying some land out in Montana next year and I'll more than likely take a trip with my Bronco. Hit up 4 corners again, possibly take a side trip out to the Grand Canyon also. Definitely adding some miles when I first get it.
