The whole image is messed up, if you look at the people, they have an early afternoon shadow, but the white pick up has the shadow directly below, although it should be protruding on the driver side of truck. ** I need a drink :alien:

Have a second look. A shadow can only fall in one direction, the shadow on the bronco and scout are directly in front of each car, but the cars are pointed in different directions. This type of magic would require 2 separate suns.

Lot's of folks think the 4 cylinder is a HIGH stress performance engine, not something I need in a truck.

I suspect the 4D will be near 4.5K LB so the 2.7 will be necessary to move it's bulk.

Don't know, but the size of people vs. Scout is wrong and the shadows don't lie. The 2D bronco looks great regardless where the photo came from.

Since my use will be about 80% highway, I'm looking at a Sahara equivalent with the smaller engine package for some decent gas mileage.

I tend to get off the beaten path to do fly fishing, currently I have a Keeper bag on top of my 16 Outback that stores the inflatable kayak and other stuff, I use the interior for sleeping when in bear country.

Trailers and hitch mounted carriers really mess with your driving dynamics. I may be back to the 4-door.

With the removable top, it may require an exterior type frame, like this ...
