I just had mine fixed yesterday. As opposed to the instrument Forscan setting the best option is to use a PAC Module and lower tone that way. This worked perfectly for mine and chimes are now where they need to be.

You need to adjust the sound of the chimes using the PAC Module. It’s not the gains, and using Forscan is not the answer; just find someone who can do use the PAC Module and it will allow you to adjust the chimes.

Hey @josivanrojas60 I just replaced B&O amp plus a sub and had the same issue. You need to find someone who has a PAC and turn down the chimes that way. It’s a module that lets you adjust chimes and works perfect.

Anyone have a fix for this? I've read turn the gains down and also change the Forscan setting to make the beeps come from "instrument cluster". Other than the start ding and back up chimes what else does this affect for instrument cluster?
