I just have to believe dealers hate warranty work – there is no money in it, as the rate sheet Ford uses is not even close to the actual time it takes to understand the issue/diagnose/tear down/fix/re-build and test. So the service dept. gets stuck dumping man hours into something they are not...
I have yet to see 1 person show proof that the tracker was off. Meaning they took delivery and the tracker shows "in Production".
Tons of stories. Lots of "My sisters brothers uncles barber..." garbage - but not 1 post showing it to be true. The tracker may be behind from "in production" to...
Marked as "built" on the tracker? And just for kicks, 2 door or 4 door - and if 4 door, is it hardtop? Wonder if Hardtop is the common denominator here (straight up guessing).
Its pretty backed up. 4/10 build week thread still has people "In production". Cant put my finger on the hold up - looks like base models are rolling out the door, as well as some SAS packages, but most Wildtraks are stuck "in production" - idk -It is what it is at this point.
Mine is still "in...
Things happen on the line for "Plant Holds" - windshields get cracked, quarter panels get dented, engines wont turn over- Last year the Tremors with optioned upfitter switches were on hold for a week as they ran out of upfitter wiring harnesses - its not a perfect process.
Going on 4 weeks...
I am far from an expert in "tear tags" - but - there is no way a 4 digit code could be unique (such as a VIN) - simply not enough combinations.
So, I would vote "rabbit hole".
Both. Handhelds for spotters and most "pick up groups" still require them, and CB to listen to the truckers on the way to the trail and be horrified at the conversations.
So, I’m going to come at this a different way – you can scream and yell and cry, or, you could make an effort to grease the tracks.
Should you have to? Nope. But life’s not fair, is it?
Maybe go to the dealership of your choice and talk to the Service manager – about anything… Mods you do...
5/1 build week - we were too cool for skool and going to go without a 'build week thread'.
reserved 10/2020 - scheduled 3/23.
Almost 900 days on this train... I want off so bad.
