Great to read about the large hood. I'm the same way -- being short, I can never really tell where the front of sloped hoods are. It's relatively okay on rental cars, not something I want on a daily driver.

I'm a dumb jock, that's the reason I own a yellow Escape. Can't lose it in a parking lot, unlike the blue/black Saturn or light blue Civic I used to own. Am going with Velocity Blue since this is a more unique color for the Base Bronco. Interesting that yellow is a popular color choice for used...
