Safe to say I won’t be getting my MY23. I’d love to know where these unicorn dealers are that are getting people production dates within a matter of days of ordering. If I re-order I obviously need to do so with a different one.
I’ll just have to keep an eye on timing for 24 order banks opening...
I think a lot of it has to do with how many orders the dealership initially placed compared to how many allocations they have. Next would probably be constraints.
Exhausted availability means no supplies left. Hard top is a constraint but it’s not bullet pointed as an exhausted component.
Fingers crossed for some scheduling emails later this week!
I was just at my dealership yesterday afternoon trying to make sense of what's happening next, and more specifically their allocations. Walked away with almost no new information. I changed my car color tho.
A couple users have posted in other threads they got theirs today. One was ordered last week. I've been calling around other dealerships in my area and many of them are asking $1k downpayment and can't guarantee I'll get picked up before my existing order does. What's with dealers and disclosing...
Wow! Last week ford chat said I was cleared to be picked up the next production week. No scheduling email this week. Now what they told me today doesn’t match what I was told last week. I think I’ll be making a trip to my dealer tomorrow to see what’s up. There can only be a couple weeks left of...
I'm in a similar boat. Was first in line the week before banks reopened to go in and pay the deposit and confirm my order specs. Dealer even said "you're the first one!" - only constraint is the hard top, otherwise everything else is well within the constraints that keep getting posted. It's...
Whoa, Sept 2022? Was it re-ordering? I was in touch with them from May '22 > March '23 and they wouldn't officially take an order from me until 3/27. Was first in line when they started. My dealer there did let it slip they took a significant amount of orders when banks reopened. Won't divulge...
Spoke with Ford Chat and was told the following:
"Been given the clear to start production" is a new update from Ford Chat - but it could be how the agent decided to word the sentence.
Glad to see others are being scheduled.
