I lot of people who buy the 4 - door use it for fishing and hunting and getting off the beaten path. We need the back to be flat so we can sleep in it. Having bulges and uneven parts doesn't work. I currently own an Outback with a flat surface, sleep in it about a dozen times per year...
This is a Covid year, nothing is as it should be. It's also a possibility that next year will be similar or worst. Manufacturer's existence may take precedence over B & P or color choices.
