I think it’s actually a bit worse. On my jet-ski at 70 my head is in strong, but clean wind. In the Bronco, there’s a lot of turbulent air all over the cabin. Seatbelts flopping etc….
Do you ride a motorcycle in a non-helmet law state? It is moderately better than that. I’m up for it, but the wife and kids get pummeled. I’ve thought about helicopter style coms headsets for the team to pop on so we can jam tunes, talk, etc while I get my top-down and doors off fix! Of...
Anybody in the depths of the rust belt have experience with these? Around here the factory retractable steps on Denali and Expeditions are often stuck open…. Thoughts?
I love these guys too. Their shows are a ton of fun with really wonky stuff. I will say though that underneath this hooligan facade, you know both of these guys have major dirt-cred! Certified off-road professionals. I’m ready to join the dirt-heads!
Well, I'd be a little peeved too, but likely to get over it quickly. I'd maybe reach out to the person and toast them for their achievement and see if they acknowledge the homage. If they come off nice, you may have a great new friend. If not, you didn't lose much. Who knows, this might be...
I wholeheartedly agree! I’ve had satellite in many vehicles for many years and have just canceled them all. The content is highly repetitive for music and the talk shows are full of commercials anyway!!!
I bought Spotify Premium for partying on the boat and podcasts while on the road…. Over...
They should improve the stereo. The B/O system is marginally acceptable, anything less is like listening to music over a tin can. I'm no audiophile, but the mono speaker in my 63 Vette is about as good. It's actually embarrassing when showing it to buddies. Ahhhhhh, but it's a lifestyle...
Fred and Dave are 4x4 icons. They have a show on Motortrend called Dirt Every Day. There are years of seasons and episodes... Do yourself a favor and grab some beers and binge on a rainy day. They usually find cheap or interesting things, install cool 4x4 stuff, and see if they can break it...
Okay, so I went and found a Race Red 4-door OB to hold me over while my Iconic Silver Badlands-Sasquatch is being built! I want to do a 2” spacer lift and add 35’s to the OB. I’m thinking of springing for nice wheels and tires that can get swapped onto the Badlands when it arrives and put the...
I want to give a shout-out to forum member and salesman @JoshuaPrieto at Avis Ford Southfield Mi. I've been watching the site for a long time, but never put in a reservation. I finally ordered my truck in February-22. My local dealer said it could be as long as a year before it gets...
I was in Park City Utah a week ago. I saw 5 FSBs. Four-4 door and one 2 door. Mix of hard and soft tops. All Sasquatch, or possibly lift and 35s. It’s a small town to have that concentration.
I just drove mine back from Detroit just past your Joliet exit! I could have checked in on it!
For what it's worth, I saw A LOT of Broncos on transporters heading west out of Detroit. Not unexpected at all. I even saw a few small scale (3-car) haulers with Broncos on them. Seems Ford is...
I made it home guys!!! Thanks a bunch to @JoshuaPrieto at Avis Ford! Super nice guy and easy in and out!
650 miles and about 10 hours to get used to the new bronco. It ran flawlessly except for two freezes of apple car play. Frustrating if you don’t know your route!!!
I had a pretty strong...
Flying to Detroit right now! Taking delivery tomorrow am! Then 10h drive back to MN! I’m gonna have a few drinks so I can sleep tonight!!!! I’ll post some pictures on Tuesday! Later friends!
