One thing I found with the DD Max Driving lights I have on the "A" pillars is that they really reflect road signs to the point I had to put smoke covers on them until I get to where I air down for off-roading. The smoke covers reduce the output by 50% I understand.
You should use a separate switch for the back lights. I don't have backlit lights as I only use mine while hunting or going to the mountains where I have to switch them off for oncoming traffic. I understand why some people like backlit lights as they look good but my off-road lights serve a...
Just look at the last few minutes when he cuts open the lug.
I have + and - hammer crimpers which look cool until I cover them with shrink wrap..............
My wiring rule of thumb. If the mfg says 16ga, I go no thinner than 14 ga. They may test inches from thier power source, but I don't install inches from my power source. If a mfg calls for a 10 amp fuse, I install a 7.5 amp. Heavier wire and smaller fuses seem to somehow always work for me...
I'm running 2 sets of DD SS3 Max's. One set on Switch 3 and the other on switch 4. Your are fine on any of them.
I run mine to a 6 position terminal block and it has worked fine.
Seriously though, I put MT Baja Boss At's on my HE and I'm getting 16.2 MPG avg. That's HWY/City/Off-road and they are about equal in engine hours to date. I'm not going to complain though, in fact I really don't give it much thought. I bought it for its off road capabilities and not as an...

I typically use remote start and wait for the fast idle to kick off before I get in and drive. Habit I guess more than anything from the days of dyno oil.
Yeah, I can always tell who just moved to our area. New 4X4 SUV or AWD Crossover..........first snow, in the ditch....
The only time I use 4A is in the snow on pavement. Today there is light snow in the Owyhee's and I will have it it 4H or 4L most of the day while hunting. But I do that...
I did Moab and not knowing beforehand what to expect, I purchased the insurance even though I have decades of off-road experience. I would not buy it again.
I've now used it a number of times and though I'm sure a lot of people have no use for it, I do.
One example is at the end of a steep, narrow two track there is a locked gate where I park and hunt a side hill for Hun's and Chucker's. Instead of my usual "K"-turn, I was able to engage trail...
Thank you all for your replies'. I tried it again Friday by starting out in 4-high, wheels straight, engaged trail turn assist, and then accelerated before I turned the steering wheel. Worked as advertised.
A calamity of errors led to my initial impressions. First I had changed from 2-high...
