I just took off the top last weekend and put on a Jtops. So far so good, no flapping and is very quiet. I'm going to install a Harken Hoist as the top just takes up too much room in the garage; then I can just go back and forth between the hard top and Jtop whenever I want.
You're in the twilight zone now...there is no rhyme or reason for anything with the build/shipping process.
Mine was built last December and sat for 5 weeks waiting for shipping. When it finally shipped Ford chat said it was still in Chicago 3 weeks later. However, I checked with the dealer...
@Ground_zero298 Thanks for leading the way on this, pretty much copied how you did it. I have the screen and both cameras wired to a single aux switch.
Following this thread I mounted two underbody cameras to get a good view for tire placement. For $160 my BaseSquatch just got even better, we'll see how it holds up over time.

I finished installing my ARB compressor under the hood. I had it in my FJ for many years and made sure to keep it before selling as they ain't cheap.
Mounted using a JCR bracket and KR Offroad coupler switch bracket; both were a pain in the butt to install as you need to blindly get wrenches...
After a month of ownership I finally got a chance to get it dirty out in Anza Borrego.
I also mounted the JCR shelf and put my molle bags from my previous vehicle on it. Transferred over my old ARB dual compressor under the hood as well, need to make a Home Depot run to finish up the wiring...
Nice! I recognize that camping spot as well.
I finally got my Bronco a few weeks ago and have been itching to get it out, thinking of heading out there for a quick day trip for some fun.
It's real and it's spectacular! Process was easy at the dealer, honored X-plan pricing per agreement years ago with no problems with price protection.
Salesman was putting registration on window before driving off and a huge gust of wind blew the door open and hit the metal siding. Two...
Luckily I was able to pick mine up today, dealer didn't say anything about this nor did I bring it up. Going to the NHTSA link doesn't show any recalls for me, so hopefully I dodged the bullet.
Please no one call your dealer asking questions about it. I'm supposed to pick mine up tomorrow and I'm already freakin out (even did some loan shopping so that will hit my credit); dealer just called and said they need to finish PDI and will call me in the morning. No mention of this yet....
Not sure how it got there but my dealer just responded that it hit the San Diego port and usually takes a week or less until they get it. Woohoo, finally unexpected good news.
I was told last week by Ford Chat that it was still in Blue Island, IL without a rail car #; so I fired off an email to my dealer to double check. He just responded that it hit the San Diego port and usually takes a week or less until they get it. Woohoo, finally unexpected good news.

It means that we are screwed.
Built 12/13 and then spent 5 weeks at Ramp 51 before "shipping" on 1/20; last I heard it's at Blue Island (the most deceiving place you can google). Ford can build it in a day but it takes 2 months to move it a little down the road, so frustrating.
So mine was built 12/13 and finally shipped 1/20, I was never on a chip hold. I just checked with Ford chat and they said it is in Riverdale, IL. She said no rail car # showing yet, but last week they gave me a rail car # that only gives an old status. At least it's on the move, no progress...
