Took some friends out with the bronco and our can am 80 miles from St. George Utah to the Toroweap overlook of the Grand Canyon.
Handled like a dream on some rough and fast riding and now it’s needing a detailing inside and out! 😂
For anyone in the area, now is the time to make the trip. I...
The extender is super stout and I see no problem at all with weight rating for 4 bikes being an issue.
If I were towing a trailer at full limit I would certainly check ratings for an extender but a bike rack is no way going to be a problem.
I also bought a hitch extension. I got the Thule one with bolt style pin to tighten and reduce the rack wobble.
I also have the Kuat 4 bike rack that tightens in the receiver to reduce wobble but it’s not my favorite and I’ve had bikes come loose so I would say the 1up route is a better option...
Don’t worry about pulling a fuse, just pop the trim right there and unplug it. Takes under 5 minutes.
Remove the oh shit handle, use trim remover tool or paint scraper to get in there and point towards the ceiling, give sharp pop upward in a few spots, you’re good to pull up the trim and unplug…
My passenger rear does the bounce too and I’ve tried all that has been tried above. Nothing fixes it so I have to try my hardest to get as close to the top as I can or it rolls down again. Happens even if the door is open so it’s not hitting the weather stripping causing it either.
Finally mounted my Jerry can from RTR. I had to re-do it a couple times to give space for the 37” spare.
Also finally got my license plate bracket from ADD. When the rear bumper was installed the bracket wasn’t there and it took a few weeks to get it in. I love my new vanity plate.

Amazon amber lights, AlphaRex headlights, Amazon light up letters, Sticker Fab golden overlays (which I’m split on and May pull off,) and Mabbett light up trail sights.
Today I installed my 3/4” body lift which I’m not sure I’ll keep on. Way too much bumper gap for my liking. I’ll either plasti dip what’s behind to hide it, make bumper relocation brackets, or just pull the lift off.
I also installed the Mabbett Lighted Trail Sights and turned my bar and halos...
Love your build! Certainly the best one they showed.
How have you liked the carbon flares? Are they worth the money?
Mind sharing a few more pictures of them?
In the closest to fitting it was the height.
I’m sure with a couple brackets or some sheet metal with holes drilled where you want them you could very easily raise it and gain the clearance needed.
I bet for under $30 and an extra 20 minutes it’s a piece of cake.
It’s got to have been an installer issue not an ADD issue. The bumper is just steel.
Front and rear are amazing bumpers. Pricey for sure, but I really like them.
So I actually have a sensor error since picking up the bronco with the new bumpers. Just made the 4 hour drive and left it over night to give 2 days to troubleshoot and they couldn’t figure it out. They told me to take it to a ford dealer near me to try and fix it.
So fun… Not the tire or angle...
Yup! Cable or wireless is just as flawed. Glitches all the time on both. Sometimes it just misses a few seconds of media and others it randomly disconnects or won’t connect on start.
It seems pretty elementary at this point in tech to have these issues when most car brands have flawless...
