Broncos are typically shipped at higher tire pressure. Reduce it to 39 or whatever your door jam sticker says. The dealer should have done this in prep.
An F rated tire is a completely different animal than the light duty Goodyears that come on Sasquatch.
Assuming the same pressure requirements is nuts. You have a VERY stiff sidewall, and your tire design as seen in the photo shows a natural crown in center tread. The Bronco is not heavy...
Mine only lasted two years. Failed at ~26K miles. Replaced under warranty. My driving is sporadic, usually very short trips, with the occasional long road trip or off-road day.
I’m sort of amazed you can’t do a couple of test drives and figure this out on your own.
Both vehicles do exactly the same thing. One does those things a little bit faster.
My Top 3
- Noisy rattly hardtop. Wind noise, rear window seal creaking, clickety clackety panel pins. Some fixable but all problems come back shortly. No decent options for two door soft top that will retract fully.
- Poor storage. Yeah, I get that the two door is short. But why the heck...
1 - Dunno
2- Very happy with my manual Sasquatch. 300hp is plenty, for on road and off. The V6 has lots more torque, but I don’t feel like miss it.
3- Sasquatch is fine on the highway. Cruise all day at 80mph.
4- Dunno, I have a hardtop only.
I like it. With the manual transmission, I, me, & myself alone decide when the engine shuts off. Clutch up, in neutral engine shuts off. Clutch in, ready to go, engine fires up. Short stop, leave my foot on the clutch and let it idle. If I have to sit at a light I prefer dead quiet, roof...
I just installed the Bronco Bikini on my two door. Nice setup, fast and easy install, and tight to the windshield. It does not flap at speed and I am pleased.
Suspect it will be just the ticket for rain showers, as long as I don’t mind some raindrops in the small side caps and over the rear...
I’ve never been a fan of the “add white stuff to be heritage” look. It’s usually a jumble of gray, white and body colors that tend to wreck the idea. But you just changed my entire view with this one. It’s stunning. The white wheels and hubcaps pull the whole look together, and the painted...
My dealer has been happy, twice, to put a sticker on without a plate. In fact, I chatted with the manager about it, and they said they rarely put plate brackets on any of the Broncos they sell, because nobody wants one.
Having said all of that, I did pop the front plate on with very strong...
I don’t want to hijack the thread, but in my case it’s the guide pins in the removable panels clicking as the body flexes. Easy to bandaid fix, but it always comes back. There’s a TSB and extensive earlier discussion on the forum, with all sorts of creative solutions. Again…. YMMV.
I have a manual Badlands Sasquatch 2 door. I absolutely love it, with 25K miles in.
BUT if I lived in the city or if I had a high traffic commute, I would not buy a Bronco, and certainly not one with a stick or Sasquatch. It’s a GREAT vehicle but it sucks in stop and go traffic, and the tires...
Are the new tires the same diameter as the original ones? I’n too lazy to look up the stock size or do the calculation, but if the tire circumference is for example,, 10% larger, your speedo, odo, and and mpg gauge will be reduced commensurately. You might be traveling further than you think...
I’ve already had to have the battery replaced on my 22 2.3L with 24K miles. I typically drive only every other day or so, and very short (1-2 mile) distances unless I’m doing a long road trip. It started with an app error saying I needed to drive more to charge my battery. The error message...
I think the Jeep does the retro look better.
While I am sure I’m in the minority here, I think the white trim on the Heritage Broncos is odd….it’s overdone and trying way too hard.
Having said that I’d rather have a root canal than actually drive any distance in a Jeep penalty box.
