Thats how its supposed to happen. Just takes a little communication! I will say some salesman are in the dark b/c they get no information from their managers, but that excuse can only take them so far. They can and should ask questions. It's their money, their book of business!
this is sheet was handed out months ago. It has now just been updated from our previous allotment. Your dealership has known the number of allocations remaining and an estimate on how many of the constraints they should be able to get scheduled. This is what I have been talking about, ask...
Dealership broadcast talking about the order banks opening. Several people took this as the order banks were opening. NOT the case, just a dealership broadcast about it opening on 27th
No replay, was not public
I do not know how many orders are left or how many allocations they have remaining. But each dealership should know how many they have left for 23MY. They should also know ABOUT how many of the major constraints they have allocations for as well. Obviously, this is an estimate and by no means...
Previewing is Tuesday and scheduling is Thursday.
Previewing does not mean it schedules just as not previewing means it won’t schedule.
Majority of “previews” schedule but is not 💯
roughly 15k orders are yet to be scheduled.
~27% WT
~20% BL
~20% 2 DR
~52% SAS
~60% LUX
Saying SHOULD b/c who really knows, what will happen between now and October!
WT- about 50% should be built.
2 DR - about 90% should be built.
SAS- < 75%
LUX - 60%
Best/most current forecast/estimate...
Orders are still going to prioritized based on 1. Dealer Allocation 2. time stamp 3.commodity constraints.
Old orders will be prioritized, if the build falls into what commodities are available.
From @RagnarKon on what "limited horizon" means:
It's a term regularly used in manufacturing... you can search "rolling horizon algorithm" if you really want to dig into the weeds on it. It's also used in many other aspects of technology/logistics... computer processor scheduling (which is why...
You would not be able to purchase, without a dealership. And I personally put ALOT of time and effort into each of sales. Spend time with each customer. Please don't lump your experiences together with everyone else's. You would not not be able to order, purchase, service, inquire, look at...
Yes, PP is optional unfortunately. Unless you qualify for plan pricing. Price protection has to be returned to the customer. The a/z plan price is determined from invoice. So the PP should be applied at Pos. If not the money must be sent to the plan customer after it is received.
No. The dealership is not reimbursed if the bronco is not sold to the name who ordered the bronco. PP is for the ordering customer only. If that customer takes possession of their order the dealership should honor the PP but does not have to unless the customer is A/Z/D plan
It was not broken down. But the USOB changed about 1k units after last scheduling. The report does not break it down. So what % of the 28% that was not COVP'd was cancelled I do not know. All I can see is what the USOB was the week prior vs now. That number was about 1K units. I would think...
their “ford guy” whatever that means is wrong. Dealers where issued statements like I posted that PP is automatic. Meaning the dealerships will be reimbursed without any need to claim anything. This will happen 60-90 days after sale on dealer statement.
and unfortunately calling will do...
It really shouldn’t be all this difficult! Certain dealers are making it so. PM me and I’ll look up your cert.
Cert + pp is what you are entitled to. PO cert is in smart Vincent and the PP should be given to you by dealership upfront. Sometimes after dealership is reimbursed by Ford 60-90...
