It's pretty easy. In Europe, it's spelled with an 'e'; in America, it's spelled with an 'a'. Also, Ford registered the names as "Gray." If nothing else, the correct spelling for Bronco grays, is whichever spelling Ford registered the colors' names as.
It probably helps, for folks who can't spell "gray," to use initials.
Also, an acronym is a group of initials that spell a word. 'CG' and the like are all just initials.
