Not surprised. I've said from the beginning, Ford will try to separate serious buyers from the tire kickers. Price increases, delays, etc.
Now requiring an additional deposit. $500 isn't bad at all, but it's $500 for a vehicle that might be a mid 2022 delivery. I'm still in for my Sasquatch...
I feel like they're intentionally charging customers out of high demand options. Before auto was included 2.7 pricing, because you don't have the manual option. Which makes sense.
I'm starting to reconsider buying the launch model. They're killing the excitement for me with more and more...
2021 F150 Tremor...might even jump ship with the Q&A last night. Will the 2021 bronco be competitive mid 2022? Hopefully if you're pushed to 2022 they provide upgrades over previous year.
Gotcha. I was referring to limited quantity in the supply chain. Which is disappointing. Especially when Sasquatch 2.7 is stock on two trim levels that will take priority over "optional" options.
Ford really messed up the Q&A tonight, but I guess they're just ripping the Band-Aid off.
He specifically says there are commodities constraints and that they only can build so many Sasquatch packages per year and many folks will have their order in 2022. I wouldn't take that as they can meet the Sasquatch demand. I would actually interpret it as the opposite.
Love the build! But DAMN if tonight hurt the odds. I wonder if I need go the wikdtrak route since you get both standard and it's not optional. 2.7 BD Sasquatch might be too "custom" for ford. ???
Gezzzzz.....Him hinting that Sasquatch is limited really bothered me. He repeated it numerous times.
I have less confidence that I will get a 2021 model even though my reservation is beginning of August. Even folks that reserved in July but have poor dealer allocation may be 2022 customers.
I'm on the fence here. With interest rates at a all time low...unless they get higher in 2021, the opportunity cost is lower and investing extra cash else where may pay off. Money is cheap for now. ?
Love the dual exhaust. I wonder if it priced out similar to a bronco? My guess it's more expensive than lariat trim level but less than the King ranch.
Thanks for sharing this picture. I'm leaning towards this color. Very similar to Toyota's lunar rock.
My favorite color is the lead foot grey. In person it's stunning.
Jeep's on road comfort is pretty awful. Off road is a beast though. Jeep's v6 sucks. Jeep's are way overpriced. Technology is out dated.
Broncos come with more features at a better cost. The Black diamond bronco is probably the best value on the market right now. ?♂️?♂️?♂️
BD with Sasquatch (+$4500) is about the same or cheaper than the stock BL. The only difference sway bar. Sasquatchin brings you just about the same with better tires and lift.
BL gives you more options though. But the mid package gives you everything you can ask for.
