I drove a 62 vw bug for 4 years, no heat or radio, then I upgraded to a 65 dodge truck, it had a radio but you couldn't hear it over the rusted out exhaust noise, so I do know what I would be getting into.
I'd probably enjoy it but I couldn't get my wife to ride in the vw or truck, she would in...
Another cracked steering cover here, just like the pictures posted.
Noticed it the other day, now I can't unsee it even though it had to be there for a couple weeks based on horn usage...
I'm not sure I understand the danger is ass for the manual. For me the ass in the manual is the only ass car I've driven where the ass didn't annoy the hell out of me.
I 100 percent agree on the hate of it automatically gasing to not stall. I'd rather it stall then lurch forward.
I do get the...
Another "who was supposed to pack the chainsaw moment". If only the 2 door had room for a chainsaw ; )
Guess we'll turn around...
Also did you know the bronco has space shuttle mode?
Mine picks up traffic on to road next to my office parking lot.
The first couple of times I didn't connect traffic on the road with the alert. It's probably 10 to 15 ft of grass to the road. I just thought wtf nothing is behind me...
I have a 2 door and mostly agree with the 4 door would make it easy and even a big truck but a long wheelbase crew cab, 176" wb, 266" length, would have struggled. ; )
more 2 door porn...
The best part is the doors just clear the wall, unless it's fully loaded, and since the point of the 2 door is to not load it, I'm set ; )
Counterintuitively the 4 door would have been more appealing to me if it was bigger. In the grand scheme the 4 door is still not very big.
I bet the 2 door manual combo is a much higher percentage than 4 door manual percentage. I also suspect the 2 door option skews older.
Here in Utah, it...
I've got the manual, it starts when you push in the clutch. Way better than brake based control.
I've grown to like it. Go figure... I still don't fully understand the logic. Sometimes it doesn't turn off when I think it should and sometimes it starts up for no reason I can see.
But I also...
Honestly, if it wasn't for granger I would have walked away from my reservation.
5k and 6 months in, so far I like it. Definitely a late midlife crisis vehicle for me. Like I told my sister, it's noisy, gets crappy gas mileage, is tiny (2 door) inside and huge outside and serves no practical...
I read this thread a while back and then just stuffed some rags above the frame. Yesterday notice some water in the back, pulled out the rags to see if they were wet. They were mostly dry, one near the junction btwn front and back panel was damp but I digress.
The point is I didn't stuff...
I'd rather have a ford flex with the drivetrain of a bronco than a 4 door bronco....
The 4 door is too small to be a family vehicle so you might as well get a 2 door.
Nice list.
On #5 my 2 door badlands high is the same. Haven't added a light yet but definitely need to.
This is my first nonpoverty trim car. You aren't missing much in creature comforts....
I think it was all good advice.
I didn't take the video as ifs is feeble, just recognize it's limitations.
The off-roadeo instructor mentioned just about all those tips.
Except he said lock up the front when you need to, of course all the off-roadeo broncos had lockers and axles designed for...
