I just noticed the f150 has cameras under the side mirrors and one pic of the center screen showed an overhead camera trickery view.

This worked for me in the 80's it would work for me now. I didn't even mind the manual inside windows:). All the electrics are needless complications although I do like the auto adjust on the side mirrors.

I'm not buying the long range zoom theory as it does not explain the size distortion between vehicles. Ford just saved a low resolution version of a close shot and released it as a spy shot.

I am curious on the controls for the automatic. Most of the automatics I've driven have been on cheap old cars and contolling the gears was a PITA. I test drove a transit with the 10 speed and was impressed with the how smooth the transmission was. I don't recall how the shifter was set up...
