This worked for me in the 80's it would work for me now. I didn't even mind the manual inside windows:). All the electrics are needless complications although I do like the auto adjust on the side mirrors.
I'm really hoping they delay the launch again until the NBA playoffs so they can cut out from the game to show us the new ford bronco. What is more important, a really good NBA playoff game or a guy driving a bronco?
I'm not buying the long range zoom theory as it does not explain the size distortion between vehicles. Ford just saved a low resolution version of a close shot and released it as a spy shot.
Malls are for losers, first thing is to black out the top of the C so it is a proper L, then I'm heading to the traffic jam on I-15, then put it in Low. It is going to be sweet!
I hated the 80's full size bronco on aesthetics alone - no Idea how it drove handled etc. just couldn't stand the looks - So I am pleased with the smaller options.
Is it bad that I want the 2 door because it makes it easy to do u-turn in front of my house when I head out to the grocery store?
The blue with white top looks better every time I see it.
Because of perceived value.
My wife drives a Fiesta ST, many people just see a Fiesta. Same base name completely different car. Neither I nor my wife care that people think it is just a Fiesta but many people do, NTTAWWT.
Hey it worked, I could turn the hill assist off and it is better without it. The whole car seemed to run better but that may be because the last time I drove it, it was 85 degrees and I still had the snow tires on....
On a side note since you guys solved my hill assist complaint - is...
Doesn't the smallest new engine (the 2.3) have more power and torque than the old v8?
This is probably sacrilegious to many of you but at what point is it overpowered?
I'll probably check the box for the 2.7 but I don't need it and if they don't offer it I wont be disappointed. My current...
I totally forgot my wifes fiesta st had hill assist since it does work so well. I hadn't considered that I could turn it off on my subaru - looks like you can - you have to turn the wheel left 3 times, shut off the engine, look up twice, honk the horn, shout "why why why" out the window and...
I didn't think I was complaining about autocomplexity - just that I probably wouldn't use it. I 100% agree with the second sentence, I can be lugging along in "slacker mode" and switch to "sport mode" at will. No need to change settings - if I want fast shifts and to hold high rpms I can...
Too many choices - I'm in analysis paralysis. :)
Thanks for the info, the new transmissions and fancy programming are far better than the old automatics but I will likely never use all those options. I just want set it and forget it. Predictable and consistent are key for me. Maybe this time...
I am curious on the controls for the automatic. Most of the automatics I've driven have been on cheap old cars and contolling the gears was a PITA. I test drove a transit with the 10 speed and was impressed with the how smooth the transmission was. I don't recall how the shifter was set up...
