You keep referring to Fairfield, I think we can all agree they Suck....... Mine is with Dixon who apparently exhibits great customer service, similar to Rio Vista
Spoke to Curtis King, internet Sales Relations Manger today at Rio Vista Ford and he refereed me to the owner, who is handling all the Bronco Sales. He gave me his email that he answers personally and advised me to contact him. Curtis would not go farther than that with information specific to...
Small dealer, then clearly you don't know the population of Dixon and the definition of small or smaller dealer. Grant it Rio Vista is smaller, I'll give you that. Did you get the dealer to send you an email and confirm their stance?
And by the way, very familiar with fords and the tremor...
Didn't call Rio Vista or Team because I live closer to Ron Dupratt (outside of town), its a small town business that has been there for years and it keeping my business local. Besides, they are giving everything I can expect (in writing) or wish for... I'll call the other two, but can it really...
I called Fairfield Ford, that is a big no....... they would not put anything in an email to me. For me, if it is in an email with a employee of the dealership attached to it, its solid ammunition and proof at purchase time. If they won't put it in an email, they then they can twist it and not...
Isn't Fairfield for fixed pricing? I was going to reserve with them but had a bad experience when I was shopping for my F150. I bought at Brentwood Ford, my last two trucks but reserved in Dixon ... calling around tomorrow
I want the 2 door, wife is the 4 door.... we reserved the 4 door Black Diamond ..... I am trying every day to change her mind..... even offered her a Louse Vuitton Purse........ Got her thinking, but she has not broken yet
There are lots of intakes with sealed boxes, I agree there is no place for an open filter style intake.....those cause heat, suck in heat and dust... not good. But in the F150 intakes there is really no need, the stock bock will support all the custom tunes you can throw at it
It is Not going to be a 80% trail rig, if it was, I would be going with the manual and low ratio... since its a 20% trail rig, I will be happy to have the beast of the 2.7 and 10 spd auto,,,,,, As in the F150..... a tuned 2.7 can run the 1/4 mile in very low 13's some high 12's...... No...
If it is going to be a trail rig, then who cares the manual only comes with the 2.4... In town it won't be an issue either... if you are worried its under powered, then obviously you will spend more time on the freeway.
Manual, 2.4 and the crawl gear.... will climb with any rig out there, rock...
Yes, wife is a supporter...... I have been through a lot of vehicles, new, old and custom and she has supported it...... This is the 1st vehicle (the bronco) that was her sole idea and she is very excited to daily drive it...... as she says..... I will let her believe it is hers. but will...
