  1. Eruption Green and Bronze and I need to some help

The spear came from Underground Graphics. They came up with cool little detail to incorporate a mountain silhouette in it to match the hood decal. Installed it myself, just followed his YouTube instructions, took my time and it was easy
  2. Eruption Green and Bronze and I need to some help

Thank the group for the replies. I went ahead and painted all the wheels with the bronze lacquer I found. I am really happy with the way it turned out. I really like the way the optional badlands wheel look.
  3. Eruption Green and Bronze and I need to some help

I found some bronze lacquer in a rattle can at a hobby store. Not sure how long it will last, but I am pleased with how it looks. It closely matches my Script Badge. I ran my experiment on the spare, now to do the 4 on the ground.x
  4. Eruption Green and Bronze and I need to some help

I absolutely love my Eruption Green 2 door and it still amazes me this color was a no cost option. The color theme I am going with, as many EG owners are, is Bronze accents. I love how it's turning out. I need help with the Beadlock rings. If anyone has painted these Bronze, please post a pic...
  5. ERUPTION GREEN Bronco Club

Just updated the the Bronco with graphics from Underground Graphics. Special shout out to Greg and Michelle at UG for coming up with a great design combining what I wanted and the wife wanted. Love the way it turned out. Subtle and clean. Love the attention to detail, the Bronco on the Hood...
  6. Grill Lettering Removal

I replaced the black letters on a base grill with the white letters off if my Big Bend grill. You have to carefully drill the back of the letters with 1/4" bit to break the heat weld and pop them out. Once you get them off, very carefully drill a pilot hole being sure not to drill thru the...
  7. Trailrecon’s final take on the Bronco

When Ford was trying there best to push the soft top on us, I went to my dealer and asked if I could spend some time looking at it. I have had jeeps for years so I knew what I was looking for. I was shocked the sides were not sealed, the overall clunkyness of the system, when fully down it...
  8. Bronco Team 2 door.

I am so glad Ford screwed around and never built my 4 door order. We changed to a 2 door in January after waiting almost 2 years and now I can't imagine having a 4 door, and honestly the 4 doors look a little goofy.
  9. Trailrecon’s final take on the Bronco

Hes not wrong on the soft top, its not good. Many of the youtube influencers were totally glossing it over and no being honest about it and Ford was pushing this thing out like it was equal to a hardtop. It was the absolute only item I would not give up on, (and no, I am not interested in...
  10. ERUPTION GREEN Bronco Club

Top off day. I haven't enjoyed a vehicle so much since I picked up my first gen Rubicon in 2003. My 15 year old son is pretty good with the poser shots.
  11. ERUPTION GREEN Bronco Club

I swapped the upper bracket/trim piece on the back off of the orginal as well as all the little metal clips on the posts and swapped out the black letters of the base grill to the white letters from the big bend grill. I experimented drilling out the letters for screws on the black letters and...
  12. ERUPTION GREEN Bronco Club

A little over a week of ownership. So far we've tinted the windows, switched the grill, swapped on the optional badlands wheels and tires and slipped on a simple 1/2" body lift. This thing is so much fun, so worth the very long wait and glad I switched my order from a fully loaded 4 door SAS...
  13. Ultimate Badlands Non-Sasquatch pics thread

Is it just me, or is the optional badlands beadlock capable wheel a better looking wheel than the sas wheel. I picked up a set for my big bend and love the way they look.
  14. ERUPTION GREEN Bronco Club

First small mod, changed out the big bend grill for a base grill and moved the white letters over. First of many.
  15. ERUPTION GREEN Bronco Club

Well I can finally join the club. Its nothing special in the Bronco world, just a Big Bend, 4cyl, manual with the rear locker. Right now I am naming it clean slate, because thats what it is. The possibilities are endless. Its a blast to run around in and can't be happier that it is in my...
  16. Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

I tried opening the video link in the assembly line pic email but it says its private. Whats the trick to make it work?
  17. Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

It must be baby photo day, I signed the papers (flawless transaction with my small town dealer), drove back to my office (smiled the whole way) and bam, email from Ford. I will chalk it up to a good day, we all need one every now and then.
  18. Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

Finally, June 2021 Original Order, January 2023 totally changed my order after the "email", produced on April 12, showed up late today. Nothing real special, just a big bend, manual, 4 cylinder, rear locker, but its gonna be fun to upgrade.
  19. Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

Mine was delivered to Alliance railyard north of Ft Worth last Friday. I was in the area Saturday so I took a shot to see if I could see it, but no luck, the holding lot is huge with no good access. Tracker still shows end of May to make it the last 120 miles, hopefully a trucker is willing to...
  20. Bronco Build Week 4/10/2023

24, ordered less than 3 months ago (actually at the same time I stripped our Bronco order to a "buildable" unit) with a highly constrained color and fully loaded. We ordered our initial Bronco in July of 21.
